Tripti gives some papers to Tanya to sign and says that it is related to routine business procedure. Tanya signs the papers. Bhumi wants to get Karan and Nandini married. Tanya decides to give divorce to Karan and says that she is doing it for Karan's happiness because she knows that Karan loves Nandini. Mihir follows Tripti and clicks some snaps of her and Rishabh to prove that they are cheating Sahil. Nakul decides to marry Sanchi. All others agree but Tripti does not. Tripti uses fake tears to convince Nakul not to marry Sanchi. Nakul is heart broken but he does not want to go against his mother. He explains this by through a letter to Sanchi, which he himself gives her. Sanchi also says that they should not marry without the blessings of Nakul's mother.
Rishabh comes to Sahil with some papers and asks Sahil to sign it. Rishabh says that the papers are regarding business deal between him and Sahil. But Mihir shows photographs and some video recordings to prove that Tripti and Rishabh are married. Tripti shows papers signed by Tanya. According to papers, Tanya transferred all property to Tripti. With everything in her name, Tripti insults SN folks.
A certain Mr. Singhania invites Viranis to a party in his new resort. Viranis go there. Tripti and Rishabh also reach there. Tripti insults Viranis there. Tanya announces Karan and Nandini's engagement at the party. Some uninvited masked man is there in the party and he is there to kill Nandini. But, before he kills Nandini, somebody else attacks Tripti with a knife and throws her in water. Bhumi sees this and informs others. Gautam jumps into water and brings Tripti out. A police inspector also comes there. He asks Tripti who did this. From Tripti's finger-pointing only things that could be known was that somebody standing there attacked Tripti. Then she faints. A doctor comes and says that Tripti is alive. He brings Tripti to a room for her treatment. When Tripti comes to consciousness, then he tries to find out who attacked her. Somebody throws her down the stairs. Now Tripti is dies. Before death she writes something with blood. Others reach there. They find it written "Virani is my killer". Before the word Virani, something else is written but it is not clear because the blood got smeared out. ACP Ragini (acted by Sudha Chandran) arrives and does investigation.
After that Viranis come back to SN. Sahil hides a knife. Gayatri comes to SN. She was abroad. When she comes to know about Tripti's dead, then she is very sad. ACP comes and arrests Gautam. This is because police found the knife hidden by Gautam. Tulsi meets Gautam in jail. Gautam says that Papa(Mihir) did the murder and Gautam hid the knife to save him. Karan meets lawyer Aditya. The indications are that Aditya is Karan's son, but it is not confirmed as yet. All evidences are against Gautam. Mihir says that he did not kill Tripti. It so happened that Mihir was looking at a knife, which belonged to Singhania's antique collection. Gautam saw Mihir with the knife and thought that he had killed Tripti. In the court, Mihir takes the blame upon himself. Gautam is free and Mihir goes to jail.
Karan sees somebody who looks just like Tripti. Later, it is found that she is Babli from Punjab; her husband is Rajinder and they have a daughter named Pinky. All in SN think that she is Tripti herself. In order to expose her truth, Karan throws a party in which he invites Babli and her husband. Karan asks everybody to come out. Only Babli is inside. Karan does something so that there is a circle made of fire and Babli is inside that. Rishabh comes near Babli and says that Babli is his wife Tripti. Babli agrees that she is Tripti. Then Rishabh saves her. The talk between Rishabh and Babli are recorded. Babli says that she called herself as Tripti because otherwise Rishabh would not have saved her. But Ragini does not believe her. Karan says that it was a plan made by him and Rishabh. Tripti is arrested. Viranis are happy that now Mihir will be free. But next day ACP Ragini comes to SN and says that Babli is not Tripti. This is because they had somehow taken Babli's finger prints in the party. The finger prints were compared with the finger prints of Tripti, which had been taken during her postmortem. They did not match.
Aditya says that Mihir will be free if Babli herself says in court that she is Tripti. Karan offers to give all Virani properties to Babli. Babli and her husband agree. Babli signs the petition that she is Tripti. Viranis train Babli to behave like Tripti. Babli learns everything in just one night. Ganga comes there and says that it must be Tripti herself. Babli testifies in court that she is Tripti. Mihir is free now.
