I guess he wants to say that Amie will continue to like him even when he is not seen in TV serials. It does not mean that he is planning to quite. It simply means he wishes that Amie's likeness for him will be intact irrespective of his professional success.

We cannot be sure that he is leaving kyunki. It could be a generic statement. For example if we trust somebody completely and we know he cares for us a lot, then we say, "He cares for me. I am sure he will be there for me when I face any problem."
It does not mean we want to say that we are going to face a problem.
