Also the fact that he never gave Tanya n her feelings a chance, and when he did, it was too late. Not always things can work when karan wants them too...
And I want to emphasis on one statement : I for one do not support wht Tanya has done to Tulsi and Nandini, it is not abt wht she did, its abt how Karan dealt with her for 20 years! Ppl, please understand tht, this is not against KN.

and well, i love karan and everything but to an extent i hav to agree that Karan did fail as a husband, moreso to nandini rather than to tanya for reasons that have already been advocated by KN fans (i.e. that tanya brought it on herself while poor nandini continued to make sacrifices) BUT because he excelled as a son! Karan married tanya and the rest taht followed cos of tulsi. and he didnt giv tanya any attention in the twenty years cos the poor guy was stilll grievin over the death of his mother. before anyone says twenty years is a long time to grieve then can i just say that sumtimes a death of a close one can have surprising effects on ya - a cheerful person can turn withdrawal, and vice versa. Karan became obsessed with business etc which is why he didnt giv his kids and tanya any attention.....but sumone whose lost his mother (and if u rememba the circumstances sum of the family members indirectly had a part in it - i mean little things like gayatri blaming her for savita's death rather than a proper conspiracy!) and blaming himself or his family members will ignore them.
no one can be perfect at everything - karans flaw is as a husband and in a way id say he sacrificed the husband for the son.
oh and my love for karan aside, someone had said sumthing on the lines of couldnt he hav lived by himself.........and i completely agree with u!!!! wats wrong with waiting for your wife in coma to get out of it if u really love her that much?? and the viranis are not only rich to have a million servants but also had a million bahus.....and at the time damini and ganga wud hav been sufficient to look afta bhoomi - tulsi managed to look afta sahil didnt she??
