Homa and jap continues in Shanthiniketan. In the hospital Mihir receives reports from the doctor and catches the doctor by his collar. The doctor apologises "I am sorry Mihir. May be we should have checked these before…… Mihir stops the doctor and takes long strides to Thulsi's room. He has flash backs of his fights, he consoling her and runs towards Thulsi's room. In the room, there is Gautam, Karan, Saahil, Harsh and Karan looking at their parents puzzled. Finally Gautam dares to ask "What did the reports say?" Mihir cries and takes Thulsi's hand in his. Thulsi consoles him saying please do not cry Mihir. He says only if he had known before. Thulsi says that she has accepted everything. Karan says that they cannot accept defeat. They will investigate into specialists. Then Mihir realises that nobody knows the reason for his anger. He says there is no need for anything like that. She is fine. Everybody is surprised. He continues "Thulsi, you do not have lung cancer." Karan asks him why he is crying. Mihir says that he is crying because of relief. Ever since he had known about Thulsi's suspected condition, he was so tensed and he could not cry. Though he always believed that he could save Thulsi, he can't believe his luck now that his dreams, hopes and aspirations have come true. Mihir and Thulsi hug and shed tears of joy.
Karan sheds tears of joy. He rushes to Dr.Nitin's room and screams at him. Doctor explains that Thulsi has bronchitis and the symptoms of the diseases are the same. He explains that Mihir did control himself. He needs to learn that too. By the time he gets back to the room, Thulsi has changed her attire and Saahil has cleared the bills. Gautam decides to inform the others on the phone. Thulsi says that she wants to see people being happy. That would be a gift. Thulsi reaches home and wonders what the women of the house hold are involved in. Karan explains that they are doing the jap to pray for Thulsi's welfare, continuous and non-stop since the previous day.
Thulsi is over come. She goes forward and stops Baa from reciting the mantra' any further. The special relationship between Thulsi and Baa is a scene worth watching. They hug. Mihir explains that Thulsi is fit as a fiddle. The rest of the family members too are over come with emotions and hug one another. Mohini who is eating a gulab jamoon, stops mid way and says that the jamoon now tastes like a karela.
Mohini is in teras and uses lots of tissues. Her room is strewn with tissues, as she continues to blow her nose. She says can somebody please tell her that all she has heard is a lie. How can Thulsi be hale and hearty? Harsh enters the room. He is surprised that Mohini is in tears. She says they are all tears of joy.
Baa and Thulsi are talking. They decide to donate to a temple. Shobha enters at the moment and asks Thulsi to forgive her. She says that life is probably too short to remember small issues and she realised how important Thulsi was in her life. Thulsi asks her if she is happy with Abishek. Shobha replies that he is a caring husband and a good father. Thulsi says probably the fault lay with her too. Sometimes she forgets that it is essential to let bygones be bygones and look toward the future. She says that she accepts Shobha's marriage and blesses her.
Mihir is seated in the hall and his sons arrive with the medicines, timings, prescriptions and a list of doctors dos and donts. Mihir is surprised and says that Thulsi has just come back and she needs to rest. This is not the ideal time to go on their tour. Baa says that Thakurji needs to be thanked and the earlier that is done the better. Mihir agrees to set out soon

Tomorrow: Mohini is at Meera's place. She says that her lover, Mihir has set out in a car along with his wife on a tour. And Meera says "So what?"
