The war between the leading ladies of television, Ekta Kapoor and Smriti Irani, is witnessing a new turn of events. Firstly, there's a buzz that Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi viewers are missing their favourite bahu Tulsi Mihir Virani and want her back on the show.

Rumours are there may be a change in the track where the new Tulsi is actually a plant by none other than the old Tulsi, because she wanted to teach her errant family members a lesson. And when the mission is completed, she'll make a comeback. Well, anything can happen with Ekta Kapoor's shows.

But for now, Smriti Irani and Ekta Kapoor will be seen together once more in the soon-to-be-launched INX Media's bouquet of channels. Both, Balaji Telefilms and Ugraya Produ-ctions would be making software for the upcoming channel to be headed by Indrani Mukherjea.

While Balaji has readied a couple of shows for the new channel, Ugraya Productions will be coming up with a reality show and a daily soap. Earlier Smriti's Virrudh on Sony did not create ripples as was expected and now everybody is keen to know the fate of her latest ventures.

Smriti Irani and Ekta Kapoor parted ways after Smriti decided to get more involved on the production front with her Ugraya Productions. It's believed that Smriti started ignoring the shooting schedules of Kyunki, would come late on the sets while the other actors kept waiting for her.

Then Ekta pulled out of Thodi Si... (a co-production between Ekta Kapoor and Smriti Irani) all of a sudden giving rise to rumours that their friendship is over.

So, after all that's happened, would Smriti go back to the show that made her a household name? Well, her serials aren't doing too well either.

Says Smriti, "The decision of packing off my character in Kyunki was taken by Ekta and it's solely in her hand to decide whether she wants me on the show or not. I have huge respect for the show that became one of the longest running themes on the small screen."

But, would she love to be part of the favourite saga again?

She adds, "I don't want to comment on it since it's not my wish alone. I reiterate that the decision lies with Ekta and I can only react to what she decides."
