Riva plays the mating game!

Riva Bubber loves her dogs. The actress has two cocker spaniels named Benji (3-year-old male) and Bijou (one-and-a-half-year-old female), and recently opened a dog salon called Wizard of Paws in Andheri.

These days (apart from working at the salon and shooting for Kyunki), Riva has some doggy issues on her mind.

"I've been looking to get Bijou a companion for some time.

I will now have to wait for her next cycle when she will come into heat and be ready to mate."

Billion's bully!

Last October, when the right time to mate came, Riva had planned to hook Bijou up with fellow co-star Sandeep Baswana's cocker spaniel Billion. "Billion was the perfect match for Bijou.

They are both of the same breed and he's quite a looker. But Sandeep couldn't wait for Bijou to come in heat and went ahead and got Billion hooked up another dog! I was quite upset when that happened," she says, joking.

The actress says she's doesn't mind waiting as long as the right candidate comes her way. "Bijou is quite choosy when it comes to other dog.

I remember during the opening of my salon, Bijou snapped at Rajiv and Delnaz's dog Gabbar. She's quite temperamental!"

Apart from nursing Bijou's dreams to find herself a mate, Riva is also healing an injury of her own. The actress recently twisted her ankle while climbing down the stairs of her building.

"I am literally yelping in pain. It's really difficult to walk. So most of my shots these days are close-ups where I am sitting," she says.
