Where are Achint's grey strands?

It's fine to look younger than the character one's playing. But actor Achint Kaur seems to have taken it a bit too far. The actor is supposed to play a woman who's atleast in her 60s and yet one can see her with jet black hair and kohl-laced eyes in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. And while the whitener has done the trick for Smriti Irani, Achint looks much younger. Well, we do know that most actors prefer to keep away from the whitener as they feel it takes away any future opportunity to play a younger character. So, is it is Achint's decision to go with the jet-black look or did the serial makers want a glamourous vamp, even here?
