well mrs.salmankhan it was nandani who killed him purposely with a harpoon. and mahir's dad (mansukh virani) went to the godown where a fire occured and got stuck there since the fire was surrounding. our hero karan did try to save him but failed. and that is the reason savita accepted karan in the family.

next question:baa's middle son's wife's name is ______?
hint: she loved bollywood movies alot and was full of comedy. infact she was the first character that mysteriously dissapered.
