I really enjoyed Reshmi Ghosh's performance today as Bhoomi....
In my opinion, she looks so much better in real life, when shes genuinely smiling and laughing... (like in the diwali dhamaka....she looked absolutely gorgeous!) In the serial, her natural beauty isnt portrayed to the fullest...I also think they should give her more good natured scenes like today, coz she really is a likable character....
Bhoomi, since the leap has been protrayed as a snobbish, spoilt brat who doesnt care for anyone else other than who she chooses too...And that too she frequently changes her mind about those ppl...She was irritating with her attitude problemm and her eye rolling and her "Puhleeeeeeeeeez...." and i genuinely despised her...
But today, her character was portrayed in an entirely different light...
Her relationship with Karan really touched my heart coz it reminded me so much of my own relationship with my dad... 😳
And also, unlike Manthan and Tanya, she isnt averse to the thought of Nandini and shows she is sympathetic to the thought that her dad still loves her and is suportive of that fact... I really liked that aspect, that even though she hasnt really had much interaction with Nandini since she was like, what, 5?? She seemed to want to meet and know more of Nandini today and also thinks of her as her mother...
I also remember the scene when Karan told her that Nandini was her mother, she didn't throw any tantrums or scream or yell or kick, like i expected her to...She took it in her stride and accepted it that Nandini was in fact her birth mother and Karan still loved her immensely...She also suported Karan in his quest to find her...
I really hope the creative team gives us more scenes that show the softer and gentle natured Bhoomi, who really is nothing but an ordinary girl, a little lost due to excess oversight on her parents part, who still has a essentially good heart....
