Gauri and Hiten mobbed by fans

The couple have been a lucky mascot for each other in the competitive television industry. Having been paired with each other in almost half a dozen shows, Hiten Tejwani and Gauri Pradhan are now all geared up to participate in the dance based reality show 'Nach Baliye2' (Star One).

Last week when the couple was in Pune for the 'Dagdushet Ganpati Mandal', they were mobbed by fans and had to wait for an hour signing autographs and posing for pictures. "I always try and go to Pune for Ganpati. This year, Hiten was also free and we decided to be part of the puja. It is heartening to meet fans but in Pune, unlike Mumbai, everyone is quite star struck with TV personalities," reveals Gauri.

The duo was also presented with a silver idol of Ganesh after the puja. Gauri elaborates, "The committee who organises the puja is almost a 100-years-old and they keep silver Ganeshas for some of their devotees. We were lucky to get one of them. Apparently, it is believed that the silver Ganesh is very lucky for devotees,"

Presently, the actor is busy rehearsing for 'Nach Baliye' with husband Hiten and says, "We are quite busy with our shooting schedules but manage to rehearse for almost four hours everyday." Incidentally, Gauri is running a high temperature and will skip the rehearsals for a few days. "I am not keeping well but I have to continue shooting for my serials," she adds.

The actor will also be seen in 'Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' (Star Plus). "My track is supposed to come back after the leap. I am waiting for Ektaa's decision. Right now I am also busy with 'Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai' (Star Plus)," she signs off.
