Perhaps this shouldn't come as a surprise, considering the massive fan following they command - Karan and Nandini, the now-on, now-off couple on Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, are leading in the stakes for the favourite jodi (couple) honours in the forthcoming Star Parivaar awards. Nandini beats channel counterparts Kumkum of Kumkum and Prerna of Kasautii Zindagi Kay, leaving them far behind in the favourite patni (wife) category too! In the complementing category of favourite pati (husband), Karan, not surprisingly, is leading competitors Sumeet of Kumkum and Kkavya of Kkavyanjali.
The one character who has left a lasting impression on the minds of the audience seems to be khalnayak (villain)- Ansh, who has left rivals, Sasha of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Swayam of Kahiin To Hoga far behind in the votes. The sautan (co-wife) in the parivaar is usually looked down upon, but seems the Star Parivaar thinks otherwise --- and the audiences too have appreciated the efforts of Tanya as the woh (the other woman) in Nandini's life.
