TV gals list their favourite shows and actors they would like to team up with.
Juhi Parmar
Show watch: I used to watch 'Khichdi' and 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai'. I love the distinct characterisations. The comedy is believable and sensible where actors do not make faces to make you laugh.
Would like to work with: Shefali Shah. I loved her in 'Hasratein'
Gauri Pradhan
Show watch: 'Sex and the City' and 'Desperate Housewives' I can relate to every female character.
Would like to work with: I like the newer lot but I don't know their names. I enjoy acting with my husband (Hiten Tejwani).
Archana Puran Singh
Show watch: 'Don' and 'Desperate Housewives'. Apart from my husband (Parmeet Sethi) playing the detective, every episode has a new story.
'Desperate Housewives' is an anglicised saas bahu saga with the right masala of humour, sex and romance. It does not take our intelligence for granted.
Would like to work with: Amrita Singh. We are both strong personalities.
Tisca Chopra
Show watch: 'The Oprah Winfrey Show'. I find her inspirational with great humour. Much like her, I don't believe in destiny. Rather, I feel that one can actualize one's dreams through one's efforts.
Would like to work with: Neena Gupta, Kirron Kher and Kay Kay Menon. They have amazing energy and there's a lot to learn from their art and lives.
Sudha Chandran
Show watch: 'India Calling' and 'Pyaar Ke Do Naam — Ek Radha Ek Shyam'. 'India Calling' deals with the contemporary concept of call centres.
The chemistry between Mansi Parekh and Vipul Shah has the feel of a Yash Chopra romance. The theme of reincarnation in 'Pyaar Ke…' intrigues me.
Would like to work with: Manoj Vohra ('Kasautii Zindagi Kay'). He has amazing body language.
Maninee De
Show watch: 'Desperate Housewives', 'Sex and the City' and 'Office Office'. All these are well-executed shows with intelligent humour.
Would like to work with: My husband Mihir Misshra, Kay Kay Menon and Pankaj Kapur. They are gifted actors who respect their art.
