they had shown that the mentally slow guys(sahils adopted son) name was mayank now suddenly meera is calling him joydeep when did ekta change his name😉

joydeep and mayank are seperate person. Joydeep is adopted son of sahil (shayad son of sahil's friend)

as far as i remember mayank is the son of gautam and damini, twin to nakul . he was the grandson that was initially slow (development wise) and was suffering with some lifelong health problems.he was supposed to be brought up by damini and gautam themselves.initially it was hinted that inspite of his disability, he will surpass and take the helm(incidentally he is the eldest son of this generation followed by his twin nakul) of the family like mihir and be the love interest/spouse of next tulsi. however with entry of krishna, it looks like there is a change in the storyline.

mayank was the kid of Damnini and Gautam this is one of Sahils cousins Sahil and Gautam are not blood brothers

yeah they r different......Mayank is still not introduced in the show
