The family is seated at the dining table. Mohini asks Raghu to give Savitha some low fat food like soup or juice. Savitha is pleased. Damini and Ganga join the table. The door bell rings and answered by Raghu. The police inspector has arrived. Gautam announces that he had filed a complaint accusing Ganga and Saahil of stealing Nakul. As Saahil is stunned, Karan intervenes and says that it's a family matter. Moreover it's emotional and is beyond the limits of law. Gautam and Karan start accusing each other. But the inspector says that he is following the law and has information for Ganga and Saahi. They cannot take Nakul any where outside the city limits. Ganga is in tears. Gautam says that he is just ensuring that his son is not taken away from him and he will be taken care of. Then he announces that he will not listen to anybody in the matter.
Ridhi asks Meera, if she has found a replacement for herself at the office. Meera answers in the negative. Ridhi asks her if she is refusing to find one. As she tries to defend herself, the door bell rings and Tanya arrives. Ridhi leaves them alone. Tanya updates about Gautam's demand for Nakul. She seeks legal opinion from Meera. The lawyer answers that law does not understand emotions. The case is in Gautam's favour. But it was a family dispute and better if decided in house instead of approaching the court.
Thulsi is with Baa. Thulsi says that she and Gautam have borne the brunt of separation for 20 years. Now Ganga and Nakul will go through the same motions. Baa says that Gautam is not thinking of a father's love, but of rights at the moment. Let law take its course. Thulsi says that the case will start proceedings soon. And with every case the family looses something that they can never get back.
Ganga is all tears and hopes some miracle happens. Saahil tries to console her.
Mayank approaches gautam for help in painting. He refuses. Mohini enters the room and says that Thulsi thinks Saahil is more "saga" to Thulsi than gautam; probably because of their early separation. When Nakul grows up, probably Damini will not understand him and treat him as Thulsi is treating Gautam. Savitha joins hands and says that she did not want a case. But as Gautam presents his views, she says that if it the only option to get the child back, so it has to be and she is also happy that Mohini understands and supports gautam.
Nakul, Mayank and Bhoomi are playing. Thulsi and Tanya watch them. Thulsi says that the children are united. As they grow up, something changes in them. Tanya saves that kids understand only love. But as they grow up they understand jealousy, hatred and envy, which change their instincts.
Tanya says that she consulted Meera. Thulsi is not happy that Tanya has discussed the family issues with an outsider. But Tanya explains that Meera is more of a family friend than an outsider. Then she says that Meera has advised Gautam to withdraw the case as it would mean humiliation in public. The children draw their attention to some picture that they have made together.
Karan is in office. He questions Mohini about some contracts. She tries to justify and thinks that there is only one strong point in their favour, it is her company. Tanya calls up Karan and asks him to come home soon as tomorrow is 29th and they have to go to Bhoomi's play home. Karan is a little lost and says that means today is 28th. He apologises that he won't be able to go home earlier as he has to go elsewhere and hangs up. Mohini reminds him that they were speaking of appointments. He asks Mohini to discuss with him before awarding any more contracts to the same company. Mohini agrees and makes her escape.
As Gautam walks down the stairs, Thulsi is waiting to speak to him. Gautam does not speak, nor looks at Thulsi but tries to go away. Thulsi stops him and asks him if he is shy of looking at her. Gautam says that it is actually the relation between them that does not see eye to eye. When ever he looks at Thulsi, he can see a "parayapan" in her eyes. Thulsi is hurt and says that it is the same eyes that cried for 20 years when he was away. Gautam says that it is sad that she cannot understand her children. She killed Ansh too. Thulsi is now angry and says that he wronged. Gautam says that in her eyes, he too has wronged, why can't she kill him too. Thulsi just screams "Gautam"!!!!!!!!
