Mansingh and Tulsi join hands to find the real culprit
Tanya is in a hospital and the doctor is happy that Tanya and the baby are healthy. She assures Tanya that the delivery would be normal. The doctor advises as a friend that the father of the child needs to be told about it. Tanya refuses and says that it would be terrorising him instead of giving any enjoy. The doctor seeks an explanation and Tanya explains that Karan has guilt that he could not do justice to her. Also he is in pain that he won't be even able to see his child of Nandini. What would he do when he hears about her pregnancy?
Tulsi looks at a calendar and recalls the judgement of the case. She sits down worried and tired. Gautam tries to console her and give courage. He starts of saying that Gautam understands Tulsi's feeling and her love for Karan…….Tulsi is lost and does not hear him. She starts thinking about his involvement. Gautam and Karan often had misunderstandings in the past. They did not get along very well. Gautam was also angry with Gujral as he had eyed Damini. Did he do it? Gautam finishes his talk and Tulsi says she is disturbed and would like to spend some time alone. Gautam volunteers to help her if he can do anything and goes away. Tulsi and her conscious are against each other. Her brains tell her that she needs to suspect Gautam. Can he help her by telling the truth – a yes or NO? Her heart rules out Gautam and Karan are brothers and it's not possible, Gautan cant be such a coward or selfish person….
As Gautam walks away he thinks that Tulsi is behaving strangely. He understands the pain and agony she must be going through, but there is some strangeness which he could detect but could answer what exactly it is
Tulsi arrives at Gujral house. She says "This place has the roots of all troubles? – the place where a devil lived". She tries the door and its locked. She looks around and finds a back door open. She is hesitant to enter and wonders whether she is doing the right thing? Then she again argues with herself that she should not think of what is right and what is wrong. Her primary aim is to find the truth. She enters the house and looks around.
Mohini is standing in front of a mirror and is wearing a diamond necklace. Harsh questions her about it. It seems expensive, he guesses its about 3 lakhs. She says its actually 5 lakhs. Then she notices that he did not expect it of her. The family is passing through such tiring times, Karan is in prison…Then she says "Aren't you fooled too?. Everybody can believe its worth 5 lakhs. But its only imitation and worth Rs.500". So saying she escapes. Outside the room she thinks Harsh is after all a fool and will believe anything, how can he ever guess that it was given by Adithya Gujral?". Harsh seemed to have understood a lot more though.
Back in Gujral house, Tulsi ransacks the house and finds a file named "Viranis". She sees that there are share details of Gautam and his photo. She also discovers that Gujral tracked Karan and his shares too. By then the bald man (Gujral's manger- who was always with Gujral) discovers Tulsi. He asks if the Viranis have no peace even after killing Gujral saab? What does she want now? Tulsi tries to explain that she knocked the door and found it open. Moreover she had no intention of stealing and he can verify…But he is impatient and calls up the police. As she goes forward in haste, Mohini's details too fall on the ground (photo and some papers). But Tulsi does not notice them.
At Shanthiniketan, Ganga gets the call that Tulsi has been arrested cause she had broken in un-authorised in to Gujral house. Mihir, Ganga and Gautam rush to the police station.
Tanya meets Karan and tries to encourage him. But he snaps and says that when everything is over, why do people not accept it? Why do they get their hopes high and in turn his? To be disappointed time and again. She shouts back, if Karan can understand them so well, why cant he say who the real killer is? Karan is silent. She says now that Tulsi Maa knows he is innocent she is not going to rest in peace, until she proves it. And Tanya will do her best to help her.
At the police station, the bald man (does he have a name?) complains against Tulsi to Mansingh. The bald man is dismissed and Mansingh demands an explanation from Tulsi. She refuses and says that he can arrest her if he wants. Mansingh says that they are a family of culprits, quite used to a prison. He explains that when he was young, a criminal shot his mother dead. His mother died with his name on her lips and he could not do much then. He had decided on that day that he would try to get rid of criminals from the face of the earth. Tulsi gets a bit emotional and says then his aim must be to catch the real culprit. Karan is innocent. He says that it's only her viewpoint. She explains about her latest findings about Deepak and how Karan was unconscious at the time of Gujral's death. Then he says that she would like to get to the bottom of things and it would be nice if he extends his co-operation. Mansingh looks at her sarcastically. By then Mihir & Co arrive at the police station and Tulsi is worried that Mansingh will narrate the whole story to all of them. But Mansingh tells the Viranis that there was a misunderstanding between Gujral's Manager and Tulsi. They are free to take her home. Gautam is angry with the Manger; but Ganga tells him that they need to go home first and then discuss matters. As they all walk out, Tulsi is the last to leave and turns back with gratitude to look at Mansingh. He gives her a thumbs-up signal. She acknowledges his support and smiles back.
Tomorrow: Tanya is speaking to Tulsi. She suggests that they party again and announce that they know the real culprit. The real killer because of guilt is bound to make mistakes and expose himself.
