It is short i apologize but school kept me busy as i work. Then on top of that i haven't been well the past 3 weeks so couldn't keep my head high or even think straight. Been going to work ill short on staff. Will update soon.

Part 18

Recap-Kanya is in a dilemma.

Pammi goes to see Kanya while Malika bids everyone farewell. Kanya is at 2 minds what to with herself. On one hand she was only getting to know Ranbir and might love him and on the other a guy like that could never change his ways for anyone could he? He claimed he loved her but those were just words. Who knew how many girls might have fallen for his lines but she believed him when he told her he never told any woman out there he loved them.

P-Kanya I don't know what all this is but as your mother I feel he's right for you. Ranbir. I was hesitant at first with his reputation but Malika being here proves something in my book and your silence confirms what I fear. You love Ranbir don't you but you don't wish to aknowledge this. I never wanted you to ever be with a guy like Ranbir and your Dad sure as hell doesn't. I may not be your mother but I feel as if you were my own flesh and blood. I guess I love you more than my own children which is wrong but I can't help it.

K-Mom I get what you're trying to tell me but I don't know anything anymore I'm more confused than anything. Ranbir is a stuck up arrogant man and he irritates me so much. I hate him so much.

P-Kanya I think you need Pooja here to help you with what you are feeling but all I know is that sometimes love just makes you feel a billion things. Love is hate and Love is Love. Look me in the eye and tell me you don't love Ranbir. Don't even bother to lie I'll send Harry after you and he gets the truth out of you.

K-Mommm I don't………… Am I that much of a burden?

P-Daughters are never a burden. Kanya forget what people might say or won't say even your Dad has given up on all that be truthful with your mind clear do you love Ranbir?

Pooja enters the scene and is flabbergasted with what she bears witness to. She starts choking on her coffee.

P-Pooja enough of all this. If Ranbir has mended his ways its good for Kanya as she loves him.

P-Pooja tu bhi na! You sister is in love and that's what counts. Love is blind teri Dad se bhi shaadi aisi kit hi. Everyone thought he was wrong for me but look at us now 30 years married and still going strong. Times are different now and even Malika has seen the difference in her son and anyone would change having met our Kanya.

Pooja-So now I get where all this glow on your face was coming from. U really do love Ranbir and all this time I thought you hated him with venom the way you used to go on about him. When did all this happen?

K-GOA! I'm having a hard time to believe he's reformed but miracles happen and a lot of other things I can't share right now. I love him with my very being. I know he's worldly and experienced a lot of things in life and yes he's older than me but we connect.

Pooja-That's settled looks like you 2 are on the road to marital bliss. If you are this crazy about him I wonder if he has a brother or we can share him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

K-Love you Di and Mamma you're the best Mom I could ever have and I'm blessed to have had 2 mothers.

Back at Shantiniketan

Ranbir is there with all the family members. Anxious at what his mother had told him. He never even got a chance to tell her his real feelings. Vaidehi was winding him up and poor Laksh was sat there as if the guy had no idea what to do. His mother arrived looking pleased with herself making Ranbir even more nervous he wanted to be sick.

Eklavya and KT came down hand in hand confirming what everyone were thinking. They were an item for sure and this wasn't what Laksh was used to he was writhing in jealousy. He thought he'd be able to get past them being an item but how wrong was he. He wanted to be happy for them but how?

Eklavya not once took his eyes off her and Tulsi noticed this. They might have got married under false pretence but she could now she how Krishna Tulsi was glowing with radiance. She thought to herself whatever happens for good its just a matter of seeing how its seen. She had longed to see Eklavya at peace and with happiness. He had got the one thing in his life that would keep him a good man. She just wished she never jumped the gun like she always did. Her own son Ansh didn't have the same goodness that Eklavya has nor the fortune(Fate). Eklavya might look like the splitting image of his father but he was nothing like him in character.

E-Dadi is looking at us?

KT-I know and so is everyone else! Let go of my hand Eklavya! (Blushing bright red).

E-So let them. Everyone can see how much I love you but more so how much you love me.

KT-Eklavya!!!! We can do this upstairs not down.

They come down the stairs and see a worried Ranbir in the corner.

R-Don't you think if I knew that I wouldn't be that scared on second thoughts that would make me just as scared.

E-Sorry bro! You're Mom is the iron lady whatever she says goes.

KT-You never know marriage might tame you.

E-What if its with someone you love?

R-Is it Kanya?

KT-So you want it to be Kanya?

E-Well if it is Ranbir you have to tell her. You do realize her parents are getting her married.

R-So what she's getting married. WHAT? WHEN? HOW? She never told me any of this.

KT-Kanya's Mom wanted to know what the groom is like and wanted a seconf opinion.

E-The truth and she's agreed and so has her Dad.

R-Kanya?

KT-She will do as her parents wish.

R-This can't happen. I can't lose her.

E-You took too long.

R-(frustrated)I have to stop this. I can't let her marry someone else.

KT-It's a done deal. Forget Kanya and think about your impending wedding.
