Why this forum is so dead?

The forum used to be pretty active so what happened? I only see couples dt active now

Overall story is not interesting enough. Fans watch this show for couples (Original fans for VashmAy, New fans for AmVeer) so only couples DTs are active. 😊

Yes I understand why people have stuck to their respective DT now. Vashmay is very much sidelined tho. I wish they had an even more interesting track.

This is really bad. Due to the biased couple Fandoms, an important male lead like Randheer who is a catalyst in Amrit's story, has been sidelined from a genuine discussion. Nobody wants to discuss his journey.

Yes so true, I was also looking for neutral analysis. The show is good but all I see people going into the other couple's fandom saying ew how can you ship them. Like imagine the stupidity.

I wish we had episode wise discussion and analysis of all the characters neutrally

They have ruined the show.

You are right but neutral analysis takes place free of any bias. Most of KJ's fans are praising his character not knowing the storyline and the background of KUDCA.

At this point in the story, these are the agendas.... for reference....

Amrit- loves Randheer since 1947, hates Veer for threat marriage but has sympathy for his psycho state and is helping him; so appears disoriented as a heroine. Pre leap she was a strong but traditional character.

Randheer- loves Amrit from 1947 but is telling himself that he hates her and Veer, But is staying on in the palace to see" Amrit ki khushi" so appears weak as a hero. He's forever carrying Veer to his bed when he passes out. Pre/post leap he is a man with a heart of gold but can see the good from the bad.

Veer wants Amrit to love him as she loves Randheer but he does not love her. He has a childhood trauma of having pushed his bother into the ditch and is being drugged by someone to dull his faculties. However his moral values are low so he can go to any lengths, even hurting himself or Amrit with a knife, or trying to poison his own mother, falsely get a women molested to get what he wants. But he hasn't tried to consummate the marriage forcefully as yet.

Vashma loves Uday and is a strong woman, having survived partition riots but has lost her son Kabir. She does not want to fight with Saroj being one family but is surviving because of Uday's support. Loyal friend of both Amrit and Randheer. Does not know about Veer's planning and Threat.

Uday is the best husband and lover of Vashma. Wants to stay with his brother and bhabhi, hence he is telling lies to Saroj about Vashma's past. But he did not support Amrit when she married Veer. If Amrit had told him about Veer's threat, he would have beat him up definitely.

So the story which started in Lahore in 1947 with authentic sets, punjabi language, melodious songs, beautiful acting and three love stories, has been watered down to half a love story ( I can't even call it one) in Delhi, with a psycho Veer character and his family -largely dominating the screenplay. This has changed the style, context and subtleties of original KUDCA that we all loved, When all we wanted to see was a LOVE STORY.
