Chapter 6:
Dhruv then took a tour of the office not that it was required but as a part of his first official day at work.
He then went to his dad's cabin that was the last cabin on the corridor atop the 14th floor of their 16 storey complex which comprised the head office of the Khanna group of enterprises at the esteemed Nariman point in Mumbai, the commercial capital of India.
His long day was mostly spend in actually meeting with everyone & later having a finer look into the various projects that the Khannas are involved with now.
At lunch time tarun, preeti, rohit & Smriti dropped by n with Dhruv n Rishabh went for a lunch together.
While Smriti n Rishabh thanked his friends for their help & keeping the secret safe, Dhruv was also being teased by everyone about his first day n now how he would have to cut down on his girlfriends, late night parties & especially wake up early in the morning only to come to office to be piled up by files n projects.
After lunch Smriti left for an exhibition while rohit n tarun headed to work with preeti, who was an expert financial consultant n had begun her work with rohit.
Dhruv n his dad headed back to work where Dhruv was said that tomorrow a new colleague would join him who would work with him in the event management wing as that was the field of specialization opted for by that person.
The evening passed by n the friends headed to a disco to chill out again encountering that mysterious stranger aboard the cruise.
She was again angry at Dhruv as owing to crowd n darkness this time Dhruv had accidentally spilled drink on her dress, but this time she left without a word but not without giving Dhruv a look he won't forget.
Next morning in the office while Dhruv was in is cabin Rishabh came in n said that his new colleague had came n he was here to introduce her.
Dhruv was playing with his pen all this while n slipped it by mistake, dropping it on the floor. He bent down to pick it n from the opening at the bottom of his table saw 2 long legs n gave look saying: woo great legs.
A gal wearing a skirted business dress was walking down.
As soon as he picked up the pen n got up to have a look of the long legged gal he found her to be none other than that stranger.
Both gave each other a look & were surprised to know that they had to work together.
Both stood still for sometime looking at each other.
Rishabh called out to her come in pls.
Dhruv meet Chandni Malik Ur new colleague n partner, chandni this is my son Dhruv n you shall be working with him.
Dhruv like you she has a keen interest in events management n got a masters degree for the same from London University.
Chandni Dhruv had his Masters degrees in business management & organization from the Howard school of business management n I hope that you two can form a great team n get our new business great fame & name.
The two shook hands at this n were left by Rishabh after he said to chandni that her cabin will be besides Dhruv on the right.
