Mandira was lying on the stretcher, bleeding profusely. Her neck was hurt badly. She was lying there unconscious. Karan was petrified virtually n as the ambulance besides him drove off speedily he stood there blank; n later when it was way out of sight n even it's loud siren was unheard karan just fell to the ground, shweta who all this while was just watching him ran to hold him.
SH came n shook k when he regained consciousness, s asked what had happened.
SH: I don't know much myself beta, bas Gloria se itna pata chala ki mandira storeroom ki seedhiyon se gir gayi.
G: sir I m sorry I don't know but I was cleaning the kitchen n didn't know madam had waked up or else….. (She began sobbing)
All reached their own hospital Hope Medical Care having hopes for their own miracle.
Mandira was critical & severely injured, doctors where unsure about her.
All this while karan was just shattered n scared deep down within his heart as SH took care of all needed while shweta too helped as much as possible.
Sitting with his head down, tears in his eyes n a fear in his heart to loose the only family he has in the form of his mother he was quiet in a lonely corner of the hospital outside the OT awaiting his mother's verdict n praying to god to atleast not take away her from him or else he would not only loose the purpose, strength & cause of his life but his very life as well.

Facing the biggest fear of his life in lonely dark night of his own hospital karan felt the most helpless ever in his life, if only, if only I could have been there with maa she would have been safe, was the only thing he felt the only question that repeatedly echoed in his mind at the moment was is this it? I can't loose her, I don't wanna loose her.
He began trembling there itself, his whole body was cold when he felt the touch of a familiar warm hand, holding his hand. Shweta sat beside him looking in his empty eyes that had been drained of life thru the tears he cried.
Karan who for so long had been silent as a lifeless figure suddenly shattered tightly gripping her in his arms placing his head over her shoulder he burst in tears admitting his fear for the 1st time, pouring his heart out, something he so needed or else he would have been severely emotionally n mentally destroyed
K: main maa KO nahi khona chahta shwet, nahi khona chahta woh chup rahe kuch Na bole, kuch bhi kare par agar mere saath Na rahe to main mar jaoonga, mar jaoonga.
S(consoling him): kuch nahi hoga aunty KO karan pls don't worry hum hai Na tum dekh Na.
He cried his heart out to her & decided to call mihir. At first he tried calling his cell but despite his innumerable attempts mihir didn't answer his calls. Later he called his office. A receptionist at Virani group answered from the other side.
R: hello virani industries good morning how may I help you?
K: hello, yes I would like to speak to your boss pls connect me to him.
R: may I know who are you sir? And why have you called up?
K: I m karan kapadia mam, pls I m calling all the way from Australia pls it's really urgent I need to talk to your boss.
R: all right sir. But whom should I connect you to? Can you please tell me that?
K (Was about to say dad): ya sure my da…….
R: hello, hello sir you there?
K: ya I m sorry uh there was a disturbance yes Mr. Mihir Virani.
R: oh sir but mihir sir is busy in a meeting with the board & I can't disturb him now.
K: mam pls it's important to me I beg u tell him it's a call from Australia he will understand.
R: ok sir fine but I can't promise but ill try.
She got to mihir who got all tensed up at the mention of the call & that too in his office. He said ask the caller to wait I shall talk to him later.
He called about 1 an hour later karan was really upset at this.
M: kya zaroorat thi tumhe yaha call karne ki aur yeh kya 70 missed calls kiye hai mere cell par tumne aisa kaunsa paahad toot pada hai jaan sakta hu main. (Mihir stormed at him).
K: Mr. Mihir virani I m so sorry ke aapke itni busy meeting KO maine roka par ha paahad hi toot pada hai yaha par maa ki jaan khatre main hai aur isliye hi maine aapko phone kiya warna aapki awaaz sunne ka mujhe bhi koi shauk nahi hai.
Mihir shocked at this asked the details & said he will arrange for money n doctors if needed but couldn't come.
K: aap main itni sharam nahi Mr. Virani 1 aurat KO aapne paagal kar diya aur woh aaj Marne ki kaagar par hai aur aap aa bhi nahi sakte.
M: main nahi aa sakta karan, gautam ki shaadi hai kal aur yaha agar main apne bete ki shaadi main nahi raha toh log kya kahenge
K: oh ha log main hi bewakoof tha Mr. virani ki aapko call kiya umeed karke sorry I forgot aapke liye log hi important hai thik hai aap wahi rahiye ab main aapko kissi chez ke liye nahi yaad karoonga, apna naseeb khud banaonga aur aap ko bataonga zarror bataonga
