PART THREE

"Gauri, where is my Armani tux that you bought that day?"

"God! Pratham can't you ever find your stuffs yourselves."

"NO! 'Coz you're there" he replied with a smirk.

"That really isn't funny"

"It is to me" he said sarcastically.

"You know what…I really pity the lady who you shall wed" said Gauri

"I'm afraid you don't have to worry about that" replied Pratham

Gauri gave him a what-do-you-mean look.

"Alright I'll explain…You see after my wedding I'll hire YOU as my PERSONAL servant or you may put it as care taker…and then there will be no more worries for me or my wife…as simple as that…you will be there to take care of everything" Pratham finished explaining.

Gauri pouted.

Now why did she keep on doing that, Pratham thought. Does she have any idea what it does to me? Rolling his eyes he went upto her and put his arms around her shoulder.

"Now what is it? I don't really understand why can't you take a joke simply Mademoiselle Gauri Singhania!"

Not responding she went upto his cupboard opened it, taking out his tux, she threw it on his face and stormed off his room and into her bedroom locking the door.

Pratham shook his head. WOMEN!

He got ready within half an hour. Looking devastatingly handsome. Looking at the mirror he could already see how all the girls in the party would be all over him. Smiling to himself he headed for the drawing room. He decided to watch a movie while he waited for Gauri, knowing she would take at the least one more hour. He picked up a DVD in random and played it.

After an hour and a half he got agitated in knowing why was it taking Gauri so long in getting ready for the party. He couldn't understand why she took so much time in getting ready. Probably because she had to try on all the outfits she buys and the one that looks best on her, she decides to wear it. Some patience she has! Sighing he went back to watching his movie.

After almost two hours her bedroom door clicked. That caught his attention. He turned. She stepped out of her room. She turned around and looked at him. He was gaping at her. His green eyes staring at her. And she knew Mission Accomplished. The way Pratham stared at her, his jaw almost dropping on the floor; she knew she looked very beautiful.

"Shall we leave now?" she said smiling politely at him.

Coming out of his trance he somehow managed to give her a small nod in return.

The limousine was already waiting for them. Since it was a BALL they were going to, they both decided on taking their limousine. Gauri's current boyfriend, Drake, thought of making his birthday party all very memorable and that is why he chose the theme to be a Ball.

Pratham glanced at her from the corner of his eyes. She looked breath taking. Her hair was done in a bun with few lock of hair, curled at the ends, let lose in the front dangling to frame her face. She wore long diamond earrings. Make-up done minimally and pink lip-gloss to enhance those rose-pink lips, which begged to be kissed. Her grey eyes adorned simply with kohl. The white gown she wore, hugged her, revealing her perfect curves, which made men ache for her. She was in for a kill. Somehow she would always live up to the name he had given her. Angel. She looked every bit of an ANGEL who would have any man spell bounded under her charms.

Gauri looked at him and said, "Sop staring will you"

Once he realized he was caught he smirked and coming close to her replied in her ears, "For that my dear, you have to look less tempting."

Gauri flushed hearing that. Pratham never spoke to her like that. She was rather amused.

Outside Drake's Mansion they stopped. The driver opened up the gate for him and he stepped out and put forth his hand to help Gauri out of the car. She took his hand and stepped out of the limo.

"Ready angel?"

"Ofcourse, I am…what makes you think I wouldn't be?"

Smiling he kissed her on the cheek. She looked at her confused as if asking, what that was for.

"I couldn't help it…well I'm a man and I'm straight and you look gorgeous and I'd say this is a natural human being reaction" he said with a grin.

And with that he put her arms around his and together they headed inside. Both ready to take on everyone. The spotlight fell on them as soon as they stepped inside the grand hall.
