- Pratham calls Gauri's name and go after her. The girl is not Gauri. Monica comes and tells Pratham that he is too tired and they should leave. Outside in the parking Monica tells Pratham that he was so good and that guy was so embarrassed and he impressed everyone. When they were about to sit in the car, a car came and shot Pratham at his left arm. Pratham sees the boys. Police comes and they run away.
- Monica is surrounded by reporters asking that how this all happened but she is so upset to talk. Police takes her out of this situation. Pratham is in hospital. Outside his room his father is talking to a policeman. He tells the police officer that he wants the culprit. Police officer tells him that they are doing their best and to them the case seems of robbery. Pratham's dad tells him to get the culprit and not to worry about anything else.
- Pratham's dad is at his place reading newspaper where he reads the news about Pratham being shot by some unknown person and he starts thinking about it.
- Pratham's dad and mom visits him in hospital and has brought him flowers which his mom initially wants to hand over to him but after realizing that Pratham's arm is hurt she puts it on a table. Pratham's dad asks him about his health and mom asks him to get well soon as he is about to get married soon. Pratham tells them that he does not want to get married but dad tells him that there is no question of not getting married and that he has to in any case. Pratham says that he does not want to. Dad tells him that every one knows that Monica is his fiance and it has been published in newspaper as well. Pratham says that who asked her to say that in front of press. Dad says that she did the right thing coz police found them at unknown place and she had to tell them that she is his fiance and not an ordinary girl. Dad tells him that he has always listened to him but not this time and that it is not a request but his order. He leaves in anger. Mom nods at Pratham with a look telling him that she cannot do anything about it and also leaves. Pratham throws the paper in anger.
- A nurse comes and tells Pratham that she has to inject him. She was wearing glasses. Pratham sees Gauri's face in her but suddenly realizes that she is not Gauri. He asks the nurse to take of her glasses but nurse does not want to take them off so Pratham asks her to leave him alone. Once again he sees Gauri instead of nurse telling him to get injected as it is good for him and he says okay and the nurse injects him and leaves. Karishma comes and asks him that how is he feeling. Pratham tells her that he is fine. Karishma tells him that he is lying. Pratham gets sad and in a very sad tone says one cannot do anything else when his heart says something else and he does something else. He says that now he can understand her pain when she was telling him about love. Karishma tells Pratham that she did not listen to her heart but he should do that. Karishma tells him that when he is sad he does not look like Pratham Maan and asks him to gather himself and take care. Pratham smiles and says that he will. Karishma leaves.
- Gauri reads the news in paper and gets sad. After thinking foe sometime she starts dialing his number but cuts the phone and thinks that if she talk to him now then the pain she gave him will double so she should not talk to him now.
- Mausi is worried about Pratham and comes to see him at hospital and creates a funny scene there.
- Gauri comes to hospital to see Pratham. She sees Pratham through glass doors lying on the bed. Gauri cries and Pratham gets up. HE comes to the door. Gauri has her hand on the door. Pratham touches her hand with his hand through the glass door. Gauri tells Pratham that she cannot live without him. Pratham asks her that if it is so then why she wants to leave him. Is that coz he loves her. Gauri says that he loves her too. They touch their faces through the glass door. Gauri realizes that Pratham was still on bed and what went now was just her illusion. She cries more.
- Pratham's mom is on phone telling someone that Pratham will be fine as he is a tomboy. She turns back and sees Gauri standing with the glass door crying. She goes to Gauri and asks her if she can help her. Gauri tells her that she is Gauri. Mom tells her that her tears told her that she is Gauri. She asks her not to disturb Pratham now as he is already very much disturbed. She tells her that at this hour only his family and his fianc can meet him and if she has come to meet him she can come in visiting hours. Gauri is hurt and starts leaving. Mom starts talking on phone telling that there was one more Pratham g/f to whom she was talking right now. She says that he will only marry his fiance Monica Malhotra and stresses on Monica for Gauri to hear this. Gauri hears this and gets even more hurt and leaves crying. Mom has that bitchy smile on her face.
- Gauri is at college. Pratham's friends call Gauri chashmish but Gauri does not mind it and that amazes them. Gauri tells then that she will miss this name when she goes to Switzerland. Pratham's friend tells her not to leave Prathamn but she says that she is not leaving forever but she will comeback and everything will have settled by then. They tell her that Pratham is getting married and it is coz she left him. Some girls come and invite Gauri to the fare well party they have arranged for Gauri. Gauri agrees to come and Gauri leaves with them.
- Arjun is with his friends at a hotel talking about Pratham's wedding.
- Pratham is in room when Bi ji comes and asks him to write the address on the letter. She says that she posts this letter continuously without getting the answer and for that people make fun of her but he does not say a word and writes the address. Pratham says that today he wants to know the reason. Bi ji tells him that this is not a letter but her belief. She says that people say her husband died on front but she still believes that he is alive. Her heart says that he is alive and her husband used to says that one should listen to what ones heart says. Pratham asks her that does trust and belief give so much strength? Bi ji replies yes. She says that he these days keep what his heart says to his heart and suffers which she does not like. She tells him to listen to his heart and trust it and that way he will get his answers. Pratham says that it does not matter now. Bi ji asks him never to lose hope. She tells him that he is her beloved son and if he loose she will never like it. She asks him to take rest and leaves.
