David Dhawan steps into the small screen

After Farah Khan stepped into the small screen as the judge of reality show, David Dhawan is set to judge a stand-up comedy along with the suave Karishma Kapoor.

Star One's Hans Baliye has roped in eight well known jodis to compete in the show namely: Sachin Shroff-Juhi Parmar, Bakhtiyaar-Tanaaz, Ali Merchant-Sara Khan, Shailesh Gulabani-Ashita Dhawan,

Sunil Grover and Gaurav Gera will host the show. Rajesh Kumar-Madhvi, Laughter Challenge contestant Guggi with wife Kuljeet, Srikanth Maski from Laughter Challenge and his partner Mel and Rajeev Paul-Delnaaz Paul.

The anchor says hamari pyari kumkum is back wit her husband Sachin shroff with a new show called hans baliye, she said we have heard or nach baliye dont know reg hans baliye, but lets see a jhalak of it.

They show the Hb promo of jusahcin, when ju is about to hit sachin with the vase.

Viewers have seen television celebrity couples igniting their chemistry on the dance floor in Nach Baliye. But this time around Star One is bringing back the Baliye chemistry by getting some TV celebrity couples together on another platform.

The channel has tweaked the format from dance to comedy and the new show which starts this Saturday will have eight popular couples showing their comic side. In Hans Baliye these couples will have to make the viewers laugh for points.

Some of the couples who will be seen doing stand-up comedy include Juhi Parmar and Sachin Shroff, Sara Khan and Ali Merchant, Tanaz and Bakhtyaar, Rajesh and Madhvi and Ashita Dhawan and Shailesh Gulabani. The show will run for 12 weeks and each week will see an elimination based on studio audience's votes and judges' marks.

Juhi Parmar and Sachin Shroff: Juhi, born in Ujjain on 14th dec, and brought up in Jaipur, this rajput girl has won many hearts and became the bahu that every Indian mother in law wants in her family; popularly known as kumkum and recently won comedy cirus therby becoming a queen of comedy as well.

Sachin, a typical Mumbaite, born on 17th dec, was the most eligible bachelor of the tellyland. The couple had first met 5 years ago while shooting for a tv show's pilot episode. Although they didn't end up doing the show, the two became close friends during the shoot. Eventually they fell in love, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Tanaaz Irani and Bhakhtyar Irani: Tanaaz and Bakhtyaar met at a reality show they were there for three months. Things happened at the last schedule of the show wherein Bhakhtyar proposed to Tanaaz.

Sara Khan and Ali Merchant: Sara khan born on 6th august in Bhopal, shot to fame as Sadhna of Bidaai. Sara started her career with modeling but, she always knew she wanted to act in a serial; a decision her parents were very supportive of as well. Sara also has been the winner of the Miss MP 2007 title.

It was love at first sight for Sara and Ali, when a common friend Jay Bhanushali had introduced them and its no looking back since then.

Ashita Dhawan and Shailesh Gulabani: Both born and brought up in Mumbai have studied in the same college, MMK bandra. From just acquaintances to 'good friends' to falling in love with each other, it indeed has been a long journey and will climb up the next step on the ladder.

Rajesh And Madhvi: Popularly known as Roshesh Sarabhai, Rajesh and MAdhvi met a few years back on shoot. It was love at first sight for Rajesh and a crush on Rajesh for Madhvi. After a courtship of 3 years, they have been married for 5 years and are proud parents of their 1 year old son.

Delnaaz and Rajeev: Rajiv born in Ajmer and Delnaaz born and brought up in Mumbai met at a shoot in 1993. Rajiv thought Delnaaz was a firang and Delnaaz thought he was simple, cute and honest person. Love blossomed and they got married after a courtship of 2 and half years.

Gurpreet Guggi and Kuljeet Kaur: Both born and brought up in Jalandhar, their families were friends they both knew each other since childhood, so it was love come arrange marriage. They have 2 children - daughter is 8 years old and son 10 years old.

Maski and Mel: Mel born and brought up in Mumbai originally from goa and srikant maski born in Karnataka mangalore and brought up in Mumbai. They met through a common friend and things clicked later on. Mel born on 24th October and Maski on 15th November.
