We had written that there will be eight couples taking part in the show. As reported by us, few of the couples who have been approached are Sachin Shroff – Juhi Parmar, Ali Merchant – Sara Khan, Shailesh Gulabani – Ashita Dhawan, Jaspal Bhatti – Savita Bhatti, Rajesh Kumar – Madhvi and Gurdeep Guggi who was seen in Laughter Challenge and his wife Kuljeet.

Hans Baliye, the first of its kind stand up comedy, is a hunt for the funniest, wittiest and most endearing Real Life Celebrity couples from tellyland. The most popular faces from telly tube compete to win the title of the 'Funniest couple'.

Hans Baliye will be filled with side splitting antics that will keep you gasping for more. It is a true test of comic timing, on screen presence and repartee between couples as never seen before on Indian television.

The show would be anchored by Gaurav Gera and Sunil Grover, known for their wittiest one liners and fantastic comic timing. And to judge the couples, sitting on the hot seat would be the multi-faceted actor, Raveen Tandon and the ever-smiling, Badshah of Music, Daler Mehendi.

The Couples:

Sara Khan- Ali Merchant Tanaaz-Bakhtyaar Ashita- Shailesh Juhi Parmar-Sachin Rajesh-Madhvi Sudha Chandran-Amit Guggi-Kuljeet

The underlying theme of the show on which the celebrity couples will perform will revolve around marriage- pre and post and all matters relating to it, served with huge scoops of laughter and comedy. All in all, a never before served recipe of comedy made of the most hilarious ingredients in the form of couples that will make you roll on the floor.

Starting 30th May 2009, every Saturdays.
