It seems like Sherlyn was already in room and Rishabh came later and confrontation happened. If he would've caught them this would've happening in main hall only not in room. He would've screamed and called her downstairs only like he did last time.

Also, from the weird angles I feel it's a dream. And of Sherlyn I feel.
