And Rishab claims to know Karan well so obviously the wise thing to help preeta would be behind his back and not in front of him. He calls preeta his friend but between his friend's respect and his brother,he always chose his brother by not doing anything. If he really wanted to do something he could have done it. That's what I mean by he is too soft,just because Karan says don't interfere then he won't interfere even if he knows his brother is ruining his friend's life. And just because preeta says she'll Marry prithvi and he shouldn't interfere, he won't interfere and let her get married to that kind of a man and ruin her life?

in the end, everyone has choice to do whatever they want to do. nobody has right to intrude someone's personal space.

Why should Rishabh obey his younger brother?

At the beginning of the show the entire family listened to Rishabh. He had that authority.

Rakhi is listening to Kareena because it's convenient for her.

I see the same with Rishabh according Karan-Preeta's wedding🙄

karan wasnt ready to listen to him. what else could rishabh do.

1.You are mixing writer's perspectives and fictional perspectives I meant to say if it's support then she has support other than rishab in the house. And she hasn't really developed feelings for him yet for him to be something different. And with the current situation, it's doubtful she'd. Because obviously she doesn't want to get humiliated further and she knows he is forbidden. So there's nothing separating Sameer and Rishab with respect to supporting her. The only difference is as a viewer you know he is a parallel lead .

2. Divorce is a respectable option if your spouse is going to get married again. So Rishab as a true friend could have made preeta see the point and get her out of the mess with dignity. And no, everyone will be happy that preeran got a divorce.

3. If not cops then he could have called the NGO women to claim preeta's rights back or even if he calls the cops to arrest Karan what's wrong in that? His brother did make a grave mistake against the love of his life or his friend. Can't he do this much for her respect?

I think that's the point she is making. He talks, but doesn't do much. Just like Rakhee. And if someone close to me doesn't listen to me but goes in the wrong path then I'd do everything in my power to stop them even if it means I have to go behind their back because ultimately I care about that person and wants the best for them.

@1: no i dont think like this at all. rishabh and sameer arent same for preeta with respect to feelings. rishabh is a lot closer to her.

@2: why should he suggest divorce for some couple? they themselves should consider it.

@3: as i said, his brother is his weakness. he wont do anything which could harm his reputation.

I am talking about support. And Sameer has always supported preeta and he joins Srishti in most plans to help preeta or Rishab or Karan. And they have a common connection which is Srishti so they might get along well. There can also be like a nice brother sister bond between them so she'll feel comfortable in that hell of mansion. And him being a side character is from a writer's perspective. I am looking at the story. And I didn't say he'll fall for preeta I just said there's a comfortable bond there as well which people fail to notice. So Rishab is not the only person she has on her side in that house.

preeta wont share things with sameer which she can share with rishabh.
