In that case even Sameer will support preeta. And he has actually done stuff with preeta and for preeta. And he'd actually team up with her once she enters. But Sameer can't speak up because he is just a cousin. While Rishab actively supporting her is something he had been doing all the time but it doesn't make any difference. As so has rakhee. Everyone knows he has a soft corner for preeta and would always support her. There's nothing new there,they didn't have to bring her to the Luthra house for that. If he was a true friend then he could have helped her by getting her a divorce respectfully or called the cops to get her rights back. She doesn't have to be present in front of him for him to do something

@bold - But we can say the same thing for every character. We can say that Karan is shown that way because the scenario demands. Characters are always fictional. Their deeds are fictional and we judge them according to their fictional deeds and not because we know the real intentions of the writers.

ye mere aur preeta k beech ki baat hai. tu interfere mat kar

so what could rishabh do? his own brother stopped him from interfering in his married life 😏

I would be surprised if you tell me you did not expect Karan to change. It was clear from the beginning that he is impatient, impulsive,temperamental, judgemental and obsessive. They were just showing all that in a positive light so obviously at one point it was going to go to the darker side. As those qualities are a dangerous boundary if you can't manage them. While Rishab was always soft and I honestly doubt there'd be a drastic change there

i knew karan will show such shades in future. and i think the same about rishabh. he is surely going to actively support preeta because he swore to God.

They could make him trying to help but failing all the time because of some circumstances. That would be counted too. And that way the writers could drag even more😃

I feel that it's his character which is written like this only. He couldn't tell his parents that he doesn't want to marry Sherlyn. He preferred to suffer silently. He is a businessman. He should know how to make conversation with people. He waited till the last moment when there were no way back.

He is good and kind. He is nice and very supportive. He is very good human being. No doubts here. But he always stays there only as a support but not a helper.

I would love to watch him more active.

Well then it's about time he actually did something to his so called friend or love. In my opinion, there's nothing heroic about him supporting preeta or proving her innocent in alimony case because those are the things he should have already done. He is already too late to do all that so it's high time he did something.

True but sherlyn is cunning enough to produce a DNA result that says it's his baby and he isn't that smart enough to not believe that unless he actually remembers whatever Karan said about her being pregnant earlier. But I honestly can't imagine a situation where Karan won't help his brother from sherlyn especially when her pregnancy is revealed. This is the point he'll forget about everything and center it all around Rishab.

rishabh will get to know that alimony notice was sent by sherlyn. he already knows she was behind his kidnapping. why would he believe any DNA report she presents. when she can send fake alimony notice, fake DNA report is a small thing.

also preeta can tell him that the report is fake.

ok lets agree that there is nothing heroic about him supporting preeta now. but atleast preeta can find a shoulder to weep on while the rest of family is brutally aginst her. rishabh and preeta will share eachothers agony thats for sure. whether or not rishabh succeeds in proving her innocence.

At the beginning of the show the entire family listened to Rishabh. He had that authority.

Rakhi is listening to Kareena because it's convenient for her.

I see the same with Rishabh according Karan-Preeta's wedding🙄

Well when Karan tried saying stuff about sherlyn too,Rishab asked him to stay away. Did that stop him?

And Rishab claims to know Karan well so obviously the wise thing to help preeta would be behind his back and not in front of him. He calls preeta his friend but between his friend's respect and his brother,he always chose his brother by not doing anything. If he really wanted to do something he could have done it. That's what I mean by he is too soft,just because Karan says don't interfere then he won't interfere even if he knows his brother is ruining his friend's life. And just because preeta says she'll Marry prithvi and he shouldn't interfere, he won't interfere and let her get married to that kind of a man and ruin her life?

That shoulder can also be Sammy or krithika. Forget krithika,she can't do anything against her mom. But Sammy is her sister's boyfriend so Rishab is not the only shoulder she has to cry on, she also has Sammy.
