When he received the alimony notice,he could have called preeta to confirm. And then found out the truth and exposed it in front of the family. Whether that will stop the engagement or not is maybe not in his control but Karan did take that decision because of the alimony. And yes they didn't make him do it because drama but that's again from a creator's perspective and not story or character. And I am making this argument exactly from the story's pov

I wouldn't call Sameer spineless because Luthra house is not his house. He is a cousin from village so what right does he have to interfere in the family? While for Rishab it's his family.

And I am just saying preeta could have a much more comfortable sister bond with Sameer as well. And who knows they might show that. Because Sameer is the only one other than Karan and srishti who knows about all the plans and the enemies. And obviously Karan can't be of help. While Srishti can be of help to preeta via Sameer. So she'll have that comfortable sister bond with him. While sure she is closer to Rishab,I am not denying that. I just meant to say she won't be alone there and that's because she not only has Rishab but also Sameer who'd help her execute her plans.

Huge really? Compared to lets say Abhi Pragya fandom or even Kartik Naira or any other main couple for that matter, Kundali Bhagya jitna bara show hai aur jitna popular show hai. Uss hisaab se toh iss show ke fandom mei thaali baigan hi zyada hai!

Rishabh nor Sameer nor Kritika and definately not Karan. Preeta ko jo bhi karna hai khud karna hoga. Khud haarna hoga. Aur khud chhorna hoga wapis aane ke liye.

yeah sameer can also help her. she wont be that much alone. she can share a good bond with him too.

He tried to make Karan understand. But he never tried to do something other than talking. As I said as the elder brother he has the authority to take decisions.

Even if Karan doesn't listen to him. I agree Karan wouldn't listen to him anyways. That's Karan. Rishabh could take some steps to help Preeta and don't listen to Karan's shit about "Stay out of this... bla-bla-bla". Rishabh doesn't need Karan's permission to do things.

At the very least, he could just make a call to console Preeta and her family and ask if she is even alive after what Karan has done to her. The Luthras including Rishabh preferred to ignore the Aroras after the wedding.

You say in some other post that Preeta shares stuff with Rishabh and he is close to her. I didn't notice her sharing stuff with Rishabh. They hardly ever talk to each other.
