Chapter 8 (Part 1)

Inside the restaurant

Natasha: Tans yaar yeh Karan bhai kidhar hai?

Tania: Pohoch raha hoga. Stop acting like a diva (rolls her eyes)

Natasha: Whatever

Just then Preeta, Shrishti and Sameer walk in

Sameer: Whats up girls!

Shrishti: Hi Tania. Hi Natasha

Tania: Hello there! Aa jao. Karan kidhar hai?

Sameer: Bhai car park karke aa rahe hai

Preeta and Natasha look at each other

Preeta: Hi Tania. Hey Natasha

Natasha: Hi (smiles fakely)

Tania: Hello Preeta. Baith jao

All of them sit. Karan also walks in after 5 minutes

Karan: Hello ladies! (goes and hugs Tania and Natasha)

Karan sits and smiles looking around. He sees Preeta trying hard to ignore him and winks at her

Karan: Chalo lets order! Shrishti, Tania, Natasha tum log kya loge? Aur Sameer tu khudh ke liye order karr de

The girls tell Karan what do they want. Preeta feels bad that Karan didn't bother checking with her. Shrishti notices that Preeta is upset.

Shrishti: Kya Karan sir aapne toh di ko poocha hi nahin ki woh kya lengi! Dieting nahin karr rahi hai meri di (gives Preeta a side hug)

Karan smiles

Karan: Preeta ki pasand napasand mujhe pata hai. Maine already order karr diya hai uske liye. Usse pochne ki kya jazoorat hai?

Karan comes closer to Preeta and whispers in her ear

Karan: Tumhe kya laga? Main tumhe bhool gaya?

Preeta: Haan (looks down at her fidgety hands)

Karan: Khudh se poocho aisa kabhi ho sakta hai? Ki Karan kabhi Preeta ko bhool jaaye?

Preeta looks at him and smiles and they both get lost into each others eyes

They both come back to the present when they realise that Tania and Natasha were arguing over something.

Tania: Tumne mujhe moti kaise bulaya (yells at Natasha)

Natasha: Ab moti ho toh, moti hi kahoongi na

Shrishti: Arre are... please jhagda matt karo!

Sameer: Natasha tum chalo mere saath (takes her away)

Shrishti winks at Karan and he realises that finally the plan is on. It was important to keep Natasha away while Pooja and Sumeet meet Preeta

Karan: Main ek minute mein aata hoon (gets up pretending to attend a phone call)

Preeta: (looks at Tania) Tania, Natasha ki baat ko itna seriously matt lo tum

Tania: (feeling guilty) I shouldn't have yelled at her. She is my best friend. Tumhe pata hai Preeta? Main uspe aankh bandh karke vishwas karti hoon

Shrishti: Tania, vishwas toh aankh bandh karke hi kiya jaata hai na? (looks at Preeta)

Tania: Haan (smiles)

Preeta has flashes of the day she slapped Natasha in front of her eyes

Preeta: Main washroom ho ke aati hoon

Outside the restaurant Sameer keeps Natasha occupied and distracted by having random conversations with her. Karan on the other hand meets Pooja and Sumeet

Karan: Pooja tum ready ho?

Just then he gets Shrishti's message

*Di washroom gayee hai. Juice girana nahin pada..lol*

Karan smiles

Karan: Chalo mere saath. Preeta washroom gayee hai. Sumeet tumhe pata hai na kya karna hai?

Sumeet: Ji

Karan goes inside and asks Pooja to come in after him

Karan: Whats up girls! Preeta kahan hai?

Shrishti: Di washroom gayee hai

Just then Preeta comes back and sits down. Karan signals Pooja to walk in

Pooja: Aap Karan Luthra ho na?

Karan: Haan (smiles)

Pooja: Main aapki bahut badi fan hoon! Can I have a selfie with you?

Karan: Ya sure! Preeta kya tum hamari ek picture le sakti hoon (hands her the phone)

Preeta keeps on staring at Pooja. She tries to recall as to where has she seen her.

Pooja: Preeta? Oh my god! Dr. Preeta Arora?

Preeta: Haan. Maine tumhe kahin toh dekha hai?

Pooja: Ofcourse! Delhi mein. Main aapki best friend Dr Natasha Malhotra ki patient thi? Remember?

Preeta: Oh yes. How can I forget you (smiles fakely)

Pooja: Aap yahan pe ho, matlab Natasha bhi yahin hogi na? Mujhe use milna hai. I want her to meet my son. Uski wajah se hi toh aaj woh mere saath hai

Pooja calls out to Sumeet. Summet comes there along with their son. Preeta looks at them and then looks at Karan, Tania and Shrishti. She realises that Natasha and her cover is blown.

Pooja: Preeta, yeh mere husband hai. Aur yeh mera beta hai

Preeta looks at them and smiles. Karan in the meanwhile messages Sameer and asks him to get Natasha inside

Sameer: Chalo andar. Bhai bula rahe hai

Natasha: Haan toh chalo na! Tum hi timepass karr rahe ho!

Both Natasha and Sameer go inside.

Chapter 8- Part 2


In a special cell in Arthur Road Jail, Mumbai:

Monisha who was arrested after the whole Sophia and Billa drama was lying down in her cell. It had been 3 weeks that she was here. Her parents were trying their best to secure her bail.

Monisha was thinking about Karan. All the moments she spent with him.

Monisha: Agar yeh sab nahin hota, toh aaj meri Karan Se shaadi ho gayee hoti. Karan kitna accha insaan hai. Woh mujhe apna leta. Aur usne aur Rishabh ji ne toh Ritwik ko nahin maara hai.

She gets up and starts pacing around in her cell.

Monisha: Yeh mujhe kya ho raha hai? Main Karan ke baare mein kyun soch Rahi hoon?

Monisha remembers her Roka, engagement and haldi. She remembers her dance with Karan.

Zindagi ne ki hai kaisi saazishein
Poori hui dil ki wo farmaishein

Monisha imagines hugging Karan and smiles. She comes out of her trance.

Monisha: Karan can never hate me. I won't let that happen. Yeh main kya soch rahi hoon? Mujhe ho kya raha hai? (worried and confused expression)

Inside the restaurant:

Sameer and Natasha enter. Natasha sees Pooja and Preeta together. Both Preeta and Pooja see her entering.

Pooja: Natasha! (Goes and hugs her)

Natasha: Pooja? (Hugs her back)

Pooja: Tum kaisi ho? I have been looking for you since you left!

Natasha: (looks at Preeta) Woh main London wapas chali gayee thi

Pooja: Yeh sab chodo. I want you to meet my son and my husband Sumeet

Natasha: Husband? Oh my god! Tumne shaadi karli? I am so so happy for you

Natasha walks towards Preeta and Sumeet.

Sumeet: Hi Natasha. Pooja aapke baare mein bahut baatein karti hai (hands over the baby to her)

Natasha takes the baby and plays with him. Preeta looks at her and child and smiles. Karan looks at Sumeet and signals him to talk

Sumeet: Natasha agar aapne uss din Pooja ko sambhala nahin hota, toh woh abortion karva leti

Natasha: Sumeet mere liye Pooja ko samjhana bahut important tha

Preeta looks confused

Sumeet: Nahin. Ek rape victim jab pregnant ho jaati hai toh mental stigma Se woh ya toh pagal ho jaati hai ya toh suicide karr leti hai. But aapne Pooja ko depression Se bahar nikala. Jab uss camp mein usse pregnancy ka pata chala, aapne uski madad ki

Pooja: Haan Natasha ne mujhe samjhaya. Mujhe hosla diya aur saare documents ready karvaye. Natasha ke reports ki help Se humne unn rapists ko jail bhejva diya

Preeta stands stupefied and broken she has flashes of that day when she heard Pooja and Natasha talk. A tear escapes her eye.

Natasha: (hands over the child to Pooja) Pooja I am really proud of you. Tumhara beta bahut hi cute hai. Aur Sumeet tumne Pooja ko apna karr bahut Accha kaam kiya hai. Tum Ek bahut hi acche father saabeet hoge (just then her phone rings)

Natasha excuses herself and goes to attend the call. Preeta looks at Pooja and her child and is in a trance. She is about to fall when Srishti hold her.

Srishti: Di

Preeta: Yeh maine kya karr diya? Natasha woh Natasha (starts crying)

Precap: Tania stops Karan from meddling between Preeta and Natasha. Tania tells Preeta that she will not let her hurt Natasha anymore and that she should stay away from her best friend.

Chapter 9

Karan goes to Preeta and Shrishti

Karan: Preeta sambhalo apne aap ko

Pooja: Preeta, dekho mujhe nahin pata ki tumhare aur Natasha ke beech mein kya hua hai. But jo bhi hai usse sort out karlo. Natasha ne kuch galat nahin kiya hai

Preeta: Pooja uss din hospital mein kya hua tha? Maine kya Sunna tha? Mujhe galat faimee kaise ho gayee?

Pooja: Preeta uss din main hospital Natasha Se milne gayee thi. Main apne bacche ko girana chahti thi. Natasha jaanti thi ki meri depression ki wajah mera rape tha.

Flashback begins

Pooja: Main iss bacche ko girana chahti hoon

Natasha: Pooja I understand. But tumhare case mein bahut complications hai. Tumhari jaan ko khatra hai. And you are in your 4th month. It is illegal to abort the child now.

Pooja: Kuch bhi karo but mujhe yeh baccha nahin chahiye. Main society mein iss bacche ke saath... (cries)

Natasha: Pooja tumhare parents bahot supportive hai. Woh tumhare saath hai

Pooja: Kuch hoga toh nahin na?

Natasha: Main tumhare saath hoon. Bacche ke DNA test se hum Ek strong case banayenge. Aur tumhare gunhegaar ko jail bhej denge. Bass tumhe thoda hosla dikhana hoga.

Pooja: Mujhe lagta hai ki mujhe police complaint karr deni chahiye

Natasha: Haan bilkul. But pehle tumhara treatment ho jaaye fir. Main tumhe saare reports bhi de doongi

Pooja: Tum nahin hoti, toh pata nahin main kaise...

Preeta: Yeh...

Natasha and Pooja look towards the door and see Preeta standing there. They realise that she has overheard half of the conversation and not the whole story. Preeta gets furious and storms out.

Natasha: Pree meri baat toh sunno! Tumhe poori baat nahin pata hai

Preeta hurries out of the clinic and Natasha runs after her. Natasha stops her and Preeta slaps her hard across the face

SLAP!

Preeta: I just don't believe it! Tum aisa karr kaise sakti ho? Tumhe pata hai na yeh illegal hai? Tumhe jail bhi ho sakti hai! Aur tumhara license?

Natasha: Meri baat toh Sunno

Preeta: Mujhe kuch nahin sunna hai. You are disgusting. Tum Ek bigadi hui ladki ho. You are a rebel aur tum timepass aur apne entertainment ke liye kuch bhi karogi. You know what? I don't want to be associated with this or anything you do. Mujhe Ek aise insaan Se koi rishta nahin rakhna hai jiski koi integrity aur morals nahin hai!

Natasha: Tumne meri integrity pe sawaal uthaya hai Preeta. Mujhe tumhe koi bhi explanation dene ki koi zaroorat nahin hai. This conversation is over for me

Natasha walks away leaving Preeta standing alone.

Flashback ends

Pooja: Preeta mujhe nahin pata ki tumne kya Sunna aur kya samjha. But Natasha ne kuch galat nahin kiya hai

Preeta: (holding Karan) Karan woh mujhse kehti rahi ki usne kuch nahin kiya hai aur mujhe uski baat ek baar sunn leni chahiye... but main (bursts out crying)

Just then Natasha walks in and sees Preeta crying and Karan and Shrishti consoling her. Natasha walks up to Preeta, Tania holds her hand and pulls her back. Natasha looks at Tania and then goes to Pooja

Natasha: Pooja tum mera number le lo. Main tumse Ghar aake baat karti hoon

Pooja takes Natasha's number and leaves. Preeta looks at Natasha and gets up from the chair

Preeta: Nuts...

Natasha: Natasha naam hai mera...Nuts toh tumhare liye ussi din marr gayee thi jab tumne mujhe chaata maara tha. Dukh iss baat ka nahin hai ki tumne mujhe thappad maara Preeta. Dard iss baat ka hai ki tumne mujhpe bharosa nahin kiya. Tumne soch bhi kaise liya...

Natasha walks away from there

Karan: Natasha... rukk jao. Preeta ki baat toh sunn lo

Tania stops Karan from following Natasha

Tania: Sorry Karan but woh bahut hurt hai. Main nahin chahti hoon ki tum usse kuch kaho. Aur yeh sab Preeta ki wajah Se hua hai. Natasha ne apne dreams, apna career chodh diya. She is very hurt

Preeta: Main usse manaungi. Woh best friend hai meri. Meri baat sunegi woh...

Tania looks at Preeta in anger

Tania: Best friend? Really? Best friends aise hote hai? Preeta agar mujhe pata hota na ki tum wajah ho meri best friend ki yeh halat ke peechay, main tumhe uske aas paas bhi bhatakne nahin deti! Door raho Natasha Se tum! Samjhi!

Shrishti: Tania yeh tum kya bol Rahi ho?

Tania walks away in anger

Karan: Shrishti jaane de. Tania, Natasha Se bahot pyaar karti hai. Woh kuch time mein theek ho jaayegi. Woh bhi hamara saath degi Natasha ko samjhane mein

Preeta: (cries and hugs Karan) Karan, Natasha Se main bhi bahut pyaar karti hoon. Meri choti behen jaisi hai woh...kuch karo

Karan: (caresses her hair) Tum fikar matt karo...main kuch sochta hoon

Sameer: Karan bhai, main aur Shrishti bhi aapke saath hai...

Precap: Preeta is unable to sleep thinking about what all happened at the restaurant. Karan comes to meet her in the middle of the night through the window.

Chapter 10

Karan and Sameer head to Luthra house after dropping Preeta and Shrishti home. Preeta was very depressed and about the whole situation.

At Arora house:

Shrishti: Di aap stress matt lo. Karan sir hai na. Sab theek karr denge

Preeta: Shrishti, Natasha bahut ziddi hai. Woh kissi ki bhi baat nahin sunegi

Shrsihti: Di try to karr hi sakte hai na?

Shrishti hugs Preeta tightly, while she sobs

At Luthra house:

Natasha walks inside in anger with Tania following her. She heads straight up to her room. Rishabh who was in the living room saw her and got worried.

Rishabh: Tashu kya ho gaya?

Natasha ignores him and storms upstairs

Rishabh: Tania hua kya?

Tania: Woh bahut ghande mood mein hai

Rishabh: Subah toh mood theek tha iska. Karan se jhagda hua hai kya?

Tania: Ummm... woh kuch nahin. Actually Preeta...

Tania stops herself from revealing anything and excuses herself and rushes upstairs

Rishabh looks at her leave and is confused. After an hour both Karan and Sameer enter. Rishabh decides to ask Karan about Natasha's mood.

Rishabh: Karan, Natasha ka mood itna kharaab kyun hai? Tania keh rahi thi uske aur Preeta ji ke beech kuch hua hai?

Karan looks at him and says

Karan: Kuch nahin. Hamara chota sa jhagda ho gaya hai. Main use baat karta hoon

Both Sameer and Karan also head upstairs

In Natasha's room:

Both Tania and Natasha are sitting on the bed in silence. Karan and Sameer enter the room

Karan: Natasha...

Natasha: Mujhe kuch nahin sunna hai. Aur mujhe pata hai yeh sab jo hua restaurant mein woh sab tumne kiya hai.

Karan: Tashu main sirf tum donno ke beech ki tension kam karna chahta tha

Natasha: Ok fine. Ab sari galat faimee door ho gayee hai. Ab please aur kuch matt karna. Main Preeta se koi bhi baat nahin karna chahti hoon

Karan senses that Natasha is very angry and probably its not the right time to speak to her. He decides to leave from there

Karan: Theek hai main jaa raha hoon

Outside Natasha's room:

Karan: Sameer kuch sochna padega bhai. Yeh bahut gusse mein hai

Sameer: Haan Karan bhai. Maine isse kabhi itne gusse mein nahin dekha

Just the Tania comes out of the room

Tania: Kya karna hai batao?

Karan: Kya? Main samjha nahin?

Tania: Maine bahut socha. Preeta ek acchi ladki hai aur woh Tashu ki bahut care karti hai. I know I overreacted, but I was just looking out for my best friend. But currently Tashu bilkul bhi theek nahin hai aur Preeta ke saath uski differences agar sort ho jati hai, toh who firse smile karne lagegi. Toh batao plan kya hai?

Karan gets excited and hugs Tania

Karan: Yay! You are the best! Maine abhi kuch socha nahin hai. But jaldi kuch karna padega

Both Sameer and Tania together

Tania/Sameer: Toh socho jaldi!

Karan: (scared) Ok Ok!

At Arora house in the night:

Preeta is unable to sleep and keeps on tossing and turning in her bed. Shrishti notices her discomfort and decides to talk to her

Shrishti: Di...Tashu gussa hai. But woh maan jaayegi

At Luthra House in the night:

Karan paces around in his room thinking about how to ensure that Natasha and Preeta become friends again. He hears a knock on his door. He goes and opens the door. He is surprised to see Sameer, Tania and Tanvi (guys it is the same character as the current track of Kundali Bhagya. Same as Coral Bhamra)

Karan: Tum log?

Tanvi: Hato saamne se (enters his room and planks herself on the bed)

Sameer and Tania also walk in.

Tania: Karan, Tanvi ke paas ek awesome plan hai

Tanvi: Haan. Ab maine socha ki tum kuch soch toh rahe nahin ho. Toh main hi kuch plan bana loon. Woh kya hai na, main Tashu ko itne sade mood mein nahin delh sakti

Karan flashes his mischievious smile at her

Karan: Arre waah! Aaj tune nashte mein badam khaya hai kya? Tumhara dimaag ekdum tez chalne laga?

Tanvi: Whatever

Sameer and Tania laugh. Tanvi discussed the plan with them and all agree that it's the best.

Karan: Theek hai. Main Preeta ko plan bata ke aata hoon

Tania: Abhi? Kal subah bata dena

Karan: nahin abhi jaana padega. I am sure she is also stressed

Karan leaves for Arora house

At Arora house:

Preeta is wide awake in her bed. She suddenly hears a knock on the window. She goes to open it and is delighted to see Karan.

Karan: Babydoll (jumps in)

Shrishti gets up because of the commotion

Shrishti: Arre Karan sir aap?

Karan: Chalo uth jao. Main tum donno ko plan batane aaya hoon (grins and winks at Preeta)

Precap: Karan plans a weekend at the Luthra farm house. Rishabh decides to confess about his feeling to Preeta. On the other hand, Karan and Preeta feel drawn towards each other.

Chapter 11

Karan sits on the bed and Shrishti keeps on grinning looking at him. Karan looks at her and winks. Preeta who was standing all this while notices this and feels uncomfortable.

Preeta: Yeh chal kya raha hai? (referring to Shrishti and Karan's over friendly exchanges)

Karan: Kya Kya chal raha hai?

Preeta bites her tongue

Preeta: Matlab, plan kya hai?

Karan: Oh that way! (puts his hand around Shrishti's shoulder as she was sitting next to him)

Preeta widens her eyes and gets irritated. She pushes Karan aside and sits in between them. Shrishti notices this and giggles.

Karan: Arre tum beech mein kyun baith gayee?

Preeta: Arre mera bed hai. Mujhe bhi baithna hai

Srishti: Haan toh di side mein baith jao na

Preeta: Tu chup karr. Main kyun side mein baithoon? Karan plan kya hai, woh batao (turns to him)

Karan looks at the two sisters with confused expressions.

Karan: Haan..woh..main ek outing plan karr raha hoon. Luthra farm house mein. Poori family ke saath. Preeta tumhe Sarla aunty se baat karni hogi. Sabko wahaan lekar aana hoga. Dekho poori family ke saamne Tashu wont say anything. Woh atleast tumhari baat toh sunegi

Preeta: Parr Karan, maa ko kaise bolun

Shrishti: Haan Karan sir, maa toh Hitler hai. Woh nahin maanegi

Karan: Baat toh tum donno sahi karr rahe ho. Idea!

Preeta/Shrishti: Kya?

Karan: Agar mom Sarla aunty se baat karle? Tab toh woh mana nahin karegi na

Shrishti: Actually yeh best idea hai. Wow Karan sir aap toh bahut cool ho!

Preeta glares at Shrishti. She gets jealous when she sees Karan wink at her give her a high five.

Preeta: (clears her throat) Waise yeh idea kiska hai? (looks at Karan suspiciously)

Karan: Woh Tanvi ka idea tha. Main sirf batane aaya tha. Abhi kuch time pehle hi usne plan banaya hai aur mere room mein aake mujhe bola

Preeta: Itni raat ko woh tumhare room ke kya karr rahi th? (gets a little hyper)

Shrishti: Di (widens her eyes)

Preeta: (realising that she has gotten hyper) Mera matlab hai kal subah bhi toh discuss karr sakti thin a yeh sab woh tumhare saath

Karan: Haan. Anyway yeh sab chodo. Main abhi chalta hoon. Tumse kal baat karta hoon. Bye

Shrishti: (looks dreamily at Karan to irritate Preeta) Bye Karan sir..

Preeta gets annoyed.

Karan: Bye darling

Preeta gets shocked and before she could commnet, Karan jumps out of the window

Preeta: Shrishti, yeh tu Karan ko aise matt dekha karr. Accha nahin lagta

Shrishti: Kyun di?

Preeta: Kyun ka kya matlab hai? Karan ko uncomfortable feel hota hoga

Shrishti: Nahin toh. I don't think so. Infact aapne sunna? Unhone mujhe darling kaha! How cute!

Preeta: Chupp karr! Pagal ho gayee hai kya? Kuch bhi bakwaas karti hai. Soja abhi

She goes and lies down on the bed in a huff. While Shrishti smiles mischievously, as her plan was working

Preeta: Ji Rakhi aunty. Main bhi sham ko maa ko bata doongi (she looks at Karan who was busy looking into his phone and smiling)

Preeta: (in her mind) Yeh kiska message dekhke itna muskura raha hai?

Karan moves upstairs to his room still smiling at his phone. Preeta gets a little insecure and inquisitive

Rishabh who has moved towards Preeta by now begins to talk to her

Rishabh: Preeta ji woh aap aayengi toh hum sab ko bahut accha lagega. Aap ko pata nahin hai aapne...(keeps on muttering...dialogue is not audible as Preeta has zoned him out)

Preeta: (in her mind) Karan apne room mein kyun gaya hai. Mujhe plan bhi discuss karna hai. I think I should go too

Preeta starts moving towards Karan's room.

Rishabh: Preeta ji?

Preeta: Haan...woh Rishabh ji mujhe kuch bahut important kaam yaad aa gaya hai. Main aati hoon

Preeta rushes upstairs leaving Rishabh behind.

Rishabh: Preeta ji hamare saath holiday pe chalengi tab mujhe mauka milega unse baat karne ka. Main unhe apni dil ki baat bata doonga

Precap: Preeta and Karan's funny argument in his room. The Luthra's and Arora's leave for the farm house. Karan tells Preeta that he will come later and he will meet her at the farm house directly. Preeta is restless because Karan is late and she is missing him.
