Preeta gets a call from Shrishti

Shrishti: Di aap Luthra house mein hi ho na? Wahin parr rukk jao. Main aa rahi hoom

Preeta: Parr tu yahan kyun aa rahi hai?

Preeta: Accha theek hai jaldi aa jaa

Shrishti: Haan bass poch hi rahi hoon di

In Karan's room

Natasha: Iss Tania ne aaj bhaga bhagake halat kharab kar di yaar Karan bhai

Karan: Usko aane de. Aaj Dareyenge!

Natasha and Karan both grin

In the meanwhile Shrishti also reaches Luthra house and meets Rakhi downstairs

Shrishti: Rakhi aunty Kritika kahan hai?

Rakhi: Arre Shrishti aaja beta. Kritika uppar hai apne room mein

Shrishti: Thank you aunty. Main zara uppar jaa karr use yeh saaman de deti hoon

Shrishti heads upstairs and goes to Kritika's room.

Tania who was drinking water in the kitchen also heads upstairs to Karan's room. On the other hand Preeta gets out of Dadi's room to get a hot water bag. Meanwhile Karan and Natasha are hiding behind the door in Karan's room and hear some footsteps. They assume it is Tania and get into attack mode

Preeta shrieks and loses her balance and falls into Karan's arms. Both Karan and Preeta get lost into each other's eyes. Natasha looks at them and notices the undercurrents.

Shrishti and Kritika also get out of the room listening to the commotion. Tania also reaches upstairs and sees Karan and Preeta. Karan and Preeta notice everyone's gaze on them and Karan makes her stand on her feet. Preeta winces in pain.

Preeta: Ouch

Karan: Mental tum theek toh ho?

Natasha: Haan tum theek toh ho? We didn't mean to scare you

Preeta: Tum donno pagal ho kya? Ouch! Mera pair!

Shrishti: Di aap theek ho?

Tania: Karan, Natasha yeh kya bachpana hai? Preeta ko lag gayee hai

Preeta notices Tania yelling at Karan and Natasha and feels uncomfortable

Preeta: It's ok Tania. I think I have just twisted my ankle

Karan picks up Preeta in his arms and takes her to his room, while she looks at hi lovingly

Karan puts Preeta down on his bed and Natasha adjusts the pillows for her. Preeta gives her a cold stare.

Karan: Tania ek baar Preeta ka pair toh dekh lo

Preeta: Nahin it's ok, main khudh check kar loongi

Karan: Mujhe pata hai ki tum doctor psycho ho. But ek baar Tania ko dekh lene do. Yeh bhi badi walli psycho doctor hai!

Preeta: Oh

Tania moves ahead and checks Preeta's foot

Tania: Hi Preeta. I know humein kissine formally introduce nahin kiya hai. I am Tania aur ek actor and model ke saath saath main ek physio bhi hoon tumhari tarah (smiles). Ok now let me see... ankle mein thodi swelling hai. It's a sprain. It should be fine.

Preeta: Tum bhi physio ho?

Natasha: Haan but woh abhi practice nahin karr rahi hai. She quit after winning the crown.

Preeta looks at Tania and smiles

They collectively decide that Preeta should go home. Karan offers to drop Shrishti and Preeta in his car, when Tania interrupts.

Tania: Karan ek kaam karo, tum mujhe airport drop karr do aur Natasha Preeta ko drop karr degi ghar

Karan looks at Preeta who is not too pleased with the idea

Karan: Lekin...

Tania: Tumne mujhe promise kiya tha ki tum mere saath luggage sort out karne chaloge

Preeta interrupts them

Preeta: Haan Karan tum Tania ko drop karr do, hum auto leke chale jaayenge

Just then Rakhi enters Karan's room

Rakhi: Arre aise kaise auto leke chale jaoge? Tash utu inko drop karr de

Preeta: Par Natasha drive kaise karegi? I mean she is an NRI

Natasha: I have an international driving license. Pehli baar yahaan drive nahin karr rahi hoon. Chalo abhi main tum donno ko drop karr dungi

Preeta reluctantly goes with Natasha, while Shrishti is amused with all the awkwardness.

In the car travelling to the Arora's

Preeta and Natasha were avoiding any kind of conversation with each other. Shrishti was observing them from the back seat

Shrishti: (In her head) Yaar di aur Tashu toh baat karna toh door, Ek doosre ko dekh bhi nahin rahe hai. Kuch karna padega

Natasha: Shrishti yahaan Se kahaan Lena hai?

Shrishti: Haan woh aagey Se right le lena. Woh galli mein.

Preeta: Andar lene ki koi zaroorat nahin hai. Humein wahaan road pe turning pe hi chodh do

Natasha: (in a stern tone) Kissine tumse tumhara opinion maanga hai? Maine maasi ko promise kiya hai ki main tumhe tumhare doorstep tak chodhungi, road pe nahin!

Natasha turns right into the lane

Shrishti: Haan bass yahin pe. Aagaya Ghar!

Natasha stops the car and both Shrishti and she get off to help Preeta out

Preeta: Shrishti zara haath toh de (ignoring Natasha's presence)

Natasha crosses her hands in front of her and makes a face. Shrishti notices the tension, but helps Preeta get out of the car and climb the steps and turns to look at Natasha

Shrishti: Tashu andar aao na. Tum pehli baar ghar aayee ho. Maa Se bhi mill lena aur garma garam chai bhi pee lena! Tumhe chai ab bhi pasand hai na?

Preeta glares at Shrishti in anger

Natasha: Arre nahin Shrishti. Main toh bass maasi ke kehne pe drop karne aa gayee thi

Preeta glares at Natasha now

Preeta: Haan pata hai (smiles sweetly) tumhe late ho raha hoga na?

Shrishti: Di aap mein toh manners hi nahin hai

Preeta: Haan saari tameez toh tum donno mein hai na

Preeta comments and storms inside while Shrishti and Natasha look at her astonished

Natasha: ok that was not cool! I am out of here

Natasha turns to go and Shrishti stops her

Shrishti: Tashu Tashu stop! Dekho mujhe nahin pata ki di aur tum kabhi Ek doosre Se baat karoge bhi ya nahin. But Ek baat main clear karr deti hoon. Yeh mera bhi Ghar hai. Shrishti Arora ka ghar. Aur main tumhe andar invite karr Rahi hoon. Please?

Natasha: Shrishti tune dekha na kya hua Abhi?

Shrishti: Haan baba dekha maine! But tumhe maa aur dadi Se Milna chahiye. Papa ke death ke baad Ma ne hi toh humein sabhala hai

Shrishti gets emotional

Natasha: Accha theek hai. Ab drama bandh karr. Only Ek chai ok?

Shrishti: Yayieee!

Shrishti hugs Natasha

Inside the house

Preeta had turned red in anger.

Preeta: (mimicking Natasha) Maasi ne kahan isiliye drop karne aa gayee. Drop karna hi nahin tha toh mana karr deti. Sunnane ki kya zaroorat hai

Preeta shuts her eyes in anger

Flashback:

Preeta slaps Natasha

Preeta: I just don't believe it! Tum aisa karr kaise sakti ho? Tumhe pata hai na yeh illegal hai? Tumhe jail bhi ho sakti hai! Aur tumhara license?

Natasha: Meri baat toh Sunno!

Preeta: Mujhe kuch nahin sunna hai. You are disgusting. Tum Ek bigadi hui ladki ho. You are a rebel aur tum timepass aur apne entertainment ke liye kuch bhi karogi. You know what? I don't want to be associated with this or anything you do. Mujhe Ek aise insaan Se koi rishta nahin rakhna hai jiski koi integrity aur morals nahin hai!

Natasha: Tumne meri integrity pe sawaal uthaya hai Preeta. Mujhe tumhe koi bhi explanation dene ki koi zaroorat nahin hai. This conversation is over for me

Natasha walks away leaving Preeta standing alone.

Flashback ends

Preeta is jolted back to the present when she sees Shrishti walk in with Natasha. Just then Sarla enters and sees the girls. Sarla notices Natasha.

Sarla: Arre tum log aa gaye aur yeh kaun hai Shrishti? (Looks towards Natasha)

Natasha: Namaste aunty

Sarla: Namaste beta

Shrishti: Maa yeh Rishabh ji aur Karan sir ki cousin hai Natasha. Kal hi London Se aayee hai

Shrishti decides to not tell Sarla about how Preeta and she know Natasha. On the other hand Natasha is relived too as she didn't want to irk Preeta and answer Sarla's questions

Sarla: Andar aao beta. Main tumhare liye chai banati hoon

Natasha sits on the couch along with Shristi and Preeta goes inside the kitchen

Natasha: Shrishti main sirf tere kehne pe aayee hoon

Shrishti: Chill na. Pata hai Mujhe

Preeta gets a glass and a chilled bottle of water from the kitchen and keeps it in front of Natasha and Shrishti

Preeta: Paani peelo (rolls her eyes)

Natasha notices the chilled water bottle and looks at Preeta and says

Natasha: Woh Mujhe thanda paani nahin chalega

Preeta rolls her eyes at her again

Preeta: Pata hai mujhe. Dust allergy ki wajah Se tumhara gala kharaab ho gaya hoga. Thanda paani Shrishti ke liye hai. Glass mein tumhare liye garam paani hai

Shrishti notices that this is the first time that Natasha and Preeta are having a proper conversation

Shrishti: (in her head) I think inn donno ke beech ki tension door karne ke liye Karan sir ki help leni padegi (smirks)

On the other hand, Sarla also notices the tension between Preeta and Natasha.

Precap- Shrishti tells Karan about Preeta and Natasha's connection and history. Tania praises Karan in front of Preeta making her jealous.

Chapter 5: (Part
1)

Sarla brings tea for
everyone.

Sarla: Beta tum

Natasha: Arre

In her excitement
Shrishti drops tea on Natasha

Inside the
bedroom:

Natasha is looking
around the room and Preeta heads over to the cupboard to get a clean tshirt for
her. She finds Shrishti's tshirt and gives it to her

mujhe Shrishti ki tshirt kahan fit hogi? Teri koi bhi tshirt de de

Preeta: Meri
tshirt? Dhoondni padegi. Mumbai aake saare western outfits andar rakh diye hai

Natasha: Are you
serious? (rolls her eyes)

Preeta looks at her
sheepishly and starts hunting for her old clothes.

Preeta: Yeh lo mill
gayee! Yeh tujhe theek se fit ho jaayegi

Natasha changes her
tshirt and hands over the dirty one to Preeta so that she can get it cleaned

Both Preeta and Natasha
come out of the room

Natasha: Accha
aunty main ab chalti hoon

Shrishti: Arre
but tumhari tshirt

Preeta: Woh kal
aake pick up karr legi

Preeta looks at
Natasha

Preeta: I hope that's
not a problem

Natasha: ofcourse

Natasha leaves to go
and meet Karan and Tania

Preeta goes inside and
Shrishti wonders

Shrishti calls up
Karan and asks him to meet her alone at a cafe near her house

At the cafe:

waiting for Karan

Shrishti: Koi

Shrishti takes a deep
breath and starts with the story

Shrishti: Di aur
Tashu paanch saal pehle ek medical camp mein mile. Tashu was a foreign exchange
student and she had volunteered to help at a medical camp near Kolhapur for an NGO.
Preeta di ne bhi volunteer kiya tha. 2 months ka camp tha. Preeta di ko Tashu
ka buddy assign kiya gaya tha. Initially they both hated eachother, but
eventually they became best friends. Very soon Natasha had to leave for London.

Flashback

Preeta: Nuts I
will miss you yaar. Tu London jaake mujhe bhool jaayegi. Mujhe pata hai

Natasha: Pagal
hai kya? Maine kuch socha hai. As a part of my medical training I will come for
this camp every year. Koi bhi city ho. I will ensure that I am here

Preeta: Yeh toh
accha idea hai! Main bhi harr saal is camp ke liye sign up karoongi!

Flashback ends

Shrishti: Tashu
harr saal camp ke liye aati. Aur camp ke baad di ke saath nasik aa jaati kuch
dinno ke liye. Fir Mumbai and then London. Yeh kaafi time tak chala aur Tashu
meri bhi acchi dost bann gayee. London jaake bhi Tashu hamesha di ke touch mein
rahi. But uss ek camp ne sab kuch badal diya. Delhi ka medical camp tha woh. Sab
kuch theek chal raha tha. Tashu ki ek patient thi Pooja depression ki patient
thi. Kuch dinno baad pata chala ki woh pregnant hai aur usse abortion karna
tha. Sab ne mana karr diya because she was at a stage jahan abortion karvana
illegal tha, but Tashu went ahead and got the abortion done secretly and
illegally. Preeta di ko jab pata chala, unhone Tashu ko bahut bhala bura bola.
She was hurt ki uski best friend koi galat kaam karr sakti hai. Uss din unn
donno ke beech kuch aisa hua jiske baad Preeta di ne kabhi Tashu ke baare mein
baat nahin ki aur kabhi uss medical camp pe nahin gayee aur tashu kabhi hamare
ghar wapas nahin aayee

Karan: aur Tashu
ne apni practice chodh di

Shrishti: Kya? (shocked)

Karan: Haan. Uss
incident ne tashu ko shayad bahut hurt karr diya tha. Usne kabhi humse iske
baare mein baat nahin ki. Sirf yeh keh diya ki who masi aur maasa ko business
mein help karegi

Shrishti: Lekin
Karan sir main jitna Tashu ko jaanti hoon, I don't think usne kuch galat kiya
hai. Kuch toh bahot badi misunderstanding hui hai

Karan: You are

Shrishti: Kuch

se uski details mill jaani chahiye

do this. Let us fix this

Both Karan and
Shrishti high five each other and look determined to sort out issues between
Natasha and Preeta.

Chapter 5 Part 2:

Both Shrishti and Karan get to work and figure out the NGOs number.

At Luthra House:

Karan messages Shrishti: Shrishti maine number pata karr liya hai. Kal call karenge

Next day:

At Luthra House:

Karan is sitting on the couch checking out some old pics of his and Preeta. He misses her and decides to call her

Karan: Hello Kareli!

Preeta: Kya hai?

Karan: Arre tumhe miss karr raha that toh call karr diya

Preeta: (smiles to herself) Kya kaam hai bolo (fakes anger)

Karan: Tum aaj ghar aa rahi ho?

Preeta: Haan bass nikal hi rahi thi

Karan: Theek hai aa jao fir baat karte hai

Preeta: (looking tensed) Kya baat karni hai tumhe?

Karan: Abhi time pass matt karo. Aa jao

Karan cuts the call

Preeta: Sunno toh. Phone kaat diya! Yeh ladka bhi na

Preeta gets ready to leave

A little later Tania comes to Luthra House. Karan is exercising in his room.

Rakhi: Tania puttar! Aaja beta

Tania: Mom

Tania goes and hugs Rakhi. She sits next to her

Rakhi: Tu kitni patli ho gayee hai. Tujhe apni mom ki bilkul bhi yaad nahin aati na

Tania: Sorry na mom. Ab main aa gayee hoon na! Sab pehle jaise ho jaayega. Accha woh sadu Karan kidahr hai? Aur Tashu kahan hai?

Rakhi: Karan room mein hai aur Tashu kahin bahar gayee hai subah subah

Tania: Itni kaldi kahan chali gayee? Mujhe bataya bhi nahin (pouts)

Rakhi: Mujhe bhi nahin bataya puttar. Bas bye bol ke chali gayee

Tania: Koi baat nahin mom. Main call karr loongi usko. Abhi uppar jaati hoon Karan ke paas

Rakhi: Theek hai beta

At the Arora's:

Natasha parks her car outside the Arora's house and goes inside

Sarla: Arre Natasha beta. Aao aao

Natasha: Namaster aunty

Preeta gets out of her room

Preeta: Maa main Luthra's ke yahan jaa rahi hoon dadi ko dekhne

Sarla: Preeta Natasha aayee hui hai

Preeta: Tum aa gayee. Le lo tumhari tshirt (removes the tshirt from her bag and hands it to her)

Natasha: Thanks (smiles)

Preeta: Maa main chalti hoon

Natasha: Accha aunty main bhi chalti hoon. Bye

Sarla: Bye beta. Aate rehna

Natasha: Ji Namaste aunty

Both Preeta and Natasha leave

Outside Arora House:

Preeta: Natasha ruko. Mujhe tujhse kuch baat karni hai

Natasha: Haan bolo

Preeta: See this is getting really awkward. Shrishti bhi abhi question karr rahi hai aur bahot jald ghar walle bhi pochenge

Natasha: Point kya hai?

Preeta: Point yeh hai that we need to behave normal and not the way we are behaving with each other currently

Natasha: You are right. Maasi aur Karan bhi question karenge. Aur main jhooth nahin bol sakti

Preeta: Exactly

Natasha: Ok. Main ghar jaa rahi hoon. I can drop you

Preeta: Parr...

Natasha: Preeta abhi abhi tumne kaha we need to behave normally

Preeta: You are right. Lets go. But gaadi araam se chalana

Natasha: I am a good driver

Preeta: Ya right! (rolls her eyes) Ab chalo lets go

Preeta and Natasha leave

At Luthra House:

Karan sprains his shoulder while lifting weights and is on the bed wincing in pain when Tania enters

Tania: Saduuu chalo na lets go out

Karan: Ouch

Tania: Kya hua (rushes to him concerned)

Karan: Shoulder mein sprain... ouch

Tania: Ok ok. Hold on let me check.

Tania checks his injury and concludes that it is a muscle pull. She gets some muscle relaxants. Natasha and Preeta also reach and head upstairs. They both go to Karan's room and see Karan without his shirt and Tania standing with the muscle relaxant spray in her hand.

Natasha: Karan bhai kya hua

Karan: Sprain..ouch

Preeta who was standing there saw Tania trying to touch his bare body and had a strong urge of slapping Tania. Preeta rushes to Karan

Preeta: Tania mujhe spray do. Main karr deti hoon

Tania: But...

Preeta: Tum jaake hot water bag aur kuch towels leke aao

Tania: Oh ya. Woh main lana bhool gayee. Tashu chalo mere saath. Help me with the hot water

Natasha and Tania leave Karan's room

Preeta goes to Karan's wardrobe and pulls out a loose shirt for him

Preeta: Yeh pehen lo. Ladkiyon ke saamne aadhe nange kyun baithe ho

Karan: Arre woh toh Tania ne kaha to remove my tshirt. Spray karna tha na

Preeta: Toh? Woh kuch bhi bolegi toh tum kapde utaar doge? Pehno yeh

Preeta makes him wear the shirt. In the meanwhile both Tania and Natasha come back. They hand over the towels and hot water bag to Preeta.

Tania: You know Preeta jab Karan started practicing main uski unofficial physio thi. I must say you have really maintained your physic

Preeta who was pressing Karan's shoulder, presses it hard and Karan feels the pain and yells. Natasha notices Preeta's jealousy and smiles

Precap: Karan and Shrishti meet Pooja and learn the truth. Preeta and Karan argue over Tania.

Chapter 6 Part 1:

Karan feels a little better after Preeta massages his shoulder. Tania gets a call and she excuses herself.

Karan: Kareli... thank you (smiles at her and winks)

Preeta blushes

Tania gets off the call and comes inside

Tania: Guys mujhe KJO ke office jaane hai. Kuch papers sign karne hai

Karan: Arre but tumne movie ke tickets book karne kaha than na!

Tania: Oh shit! I am sorry. I completely forgot.

Karan: Kya yaar

Tania: Ek kaam karo, take Preeta for the movie

Preeta looks shocked

Natasha: Haan bhai. Preeta aur aap movie ke liye chale jao

Preeta narrows her eyes and glares at Natasha. Natasha giggles

Karan: Hass kyun rahi ho?

Natasha: Hassi anhin khaasi (fakes a cough)

Karan: Actually Preeta hum donno movie ke liye chalte hai

Preeta is apprehensive but agrees in the end. Preeta goes near Natasha and whispers in her ears.

Preeta: Tumne yeh jaan bujh karr kiya hai na?

Natasha: Abhi toh mazza shuru hua hai (smiles at her sweetly)

Natasha: Accha bhai, main chalti hoon. Mujhe kuch important kaam hai. Tania tum chal rahi ho?

Tania: Haan chalo. Bye Preeta. Bye Karan

Tania goes and hugs Karan. Preeta gets annoyed.

Preeta: (in her head) Yeh Karan ko itne chipakti kyun hai

Natasha and Tania leave. Both Karan and Preeta look at each other and smile nervously

At the Multiplex:

Preeta: I love Ranveer Singh! (gets excited for Gully Boy)

Karan gets jealous looking at her excitement

Karan: Pata hai. Uss din police station mein dekh liya tha

Preeta: Whatever (rolls her eyes)

Karan: Chalo lets get something to eat

Both Karan and Preeta head to the food counter and order for popcorn, nachoa and cold drinks. Karan makes the payment and picks up the popcorn and nachos. Suddenly his phone rings.

Karan: Preeta mere back pocket se phone nikal lo na. Mere haath full hai.

Preeta keeps the cold drinks at the counter and reaches out for his phone. Their eyes meet briefly and they get lost into each other's eyes. Preeta breaks the eye lock and removes his phone.

Karan: Kiska call hai?

Preeta: Ek minute. Tania ka call hai (in a disinterested tone)

Karan: Speaker pe daal do

Preeta puts the phone on speaker

Karan: Hello

Tania: Baby I just got done. Ek kaam karo tum ghar aa jao agar movie hasn't started

Preeta narrows her eyes and looks at Karan. Karan looks at her with scared expressions

Karan: (laughs) hahahahaha woh kya hai na babes, main abhi wapas nahin aa sakta

Tania: Kyun nahin aa sakte?

Karan: Bass nahin aa sakta

Tania: Arre but why?

Preeta gets angry and turns red

Karan: Accha bye. Movie start hone walli hai. Bye!

Tania: Arre!

Preeta cuts the call in anger and acts as if she is going to smash it on the ground

Karan: Arre nahin nahin. Please kareli naya phone hai

Preeta: UUUggghhh

She switches it off and puts it in her bag

Karan: Phone bandh kyun karr diya?

Preeta: Because I don't want people disturbing us! Aur yeh Tania. Mujhe yeh bilkul bhi nahin pasand

Karan: Tum toh usse jaanti bhi nahin ho

Preeta: Jaanne ki kya zaroorat hai? I just don't like her

Karan: But usne kiya kya?

Preeta: Yeh kya tha? Movie chodhke aa jao wapas?

Karan: Ufff... Preeta Arora jab tum jealous hoti ho na tab bahot cute lagti ho!

Preeta: Main jealous nahin ho rahi hoon. Main bass bahut gussa hoon

Karan: Accha baba tum gussa kyun ho? (looks at her cutely)

Preeta: I don't like it jab hum donno ke beech koi bhi aata hai

(Sajda plays)

Karan: Theek hai. Hum doono ke beech koi bhi nahin aayega. Ok? Ab theek hai?

(Sajda plays)

Preeta: (nods) chale?

Both of them head inside and take their seats which were on the top most row in a corner. The staff gets them a blanket.

Preeta: Can I get one more please?

Staff: Sure ma'am

The staff goes to get another blanket. The movie starts. Karan opens the blanket and takes half of it for himself and puts the other half on Preeta.

Karan: Jab tak doosare blanket nahin aa jaata. Yeh share karr lete hai

Preeta: Are you sure?

Karan: Haan baba

They both share the blanket and after a couple of minutes start fighting over it. Karan pulls it to his side and Preeta pulls it to her side. They continue to pull it. Finally Karan pulls its so hard that Preeta lands on his lap. They both get lost into each other.

The multiplex staff comes with the blanket and interrupts their moment.

Karan: Thank you (hands it over to Preeta)

Preeta takes the blanket and doesn't realise that she is still sitting on his lap.

Karan: Babydoll ab poori movie mere godh mein baithke dekhne ka vichaar hai kya?

Preeta's eyes widen and she realises that she is sitting in his lap and becomes aware of their closeness. She gets up and moves to her seat. Both Karan and Preeta look at each other and smile awkwardly
