He loves his brother and he says that is brother is in pain and from a superficial basis it looks like Preeta's fault. It unfortunate but all the facts like against Preeta so obviously he is going to believe that. Karan and Preeta do not have a deep connection yet that he can be so sure that she did not do it. He does know her a bit to know that she can stand up for herself like she does with him hence the reason he voiced it yesterday.

Karan today was upset for his brother today and he believes Preeta is the reason for it and in some sense he is right. Rishabh is worried and upset he couldn't help Preeta (it was Rishabh's fault though he could have chose to help her). Karan says his bhai is his jigar ka tukada and that everyone takes advantage of Rishabh because of his innocence and he can sense that Rishabh has some feelings for Preeta and he wants to prevent that.

The Sherlin matter think about it from a common sense perspective what girl wants to break her own engagement? What Sherlin did was unbelievable, hence why Karan can't believe it either. The facts are against Preeta and that is how the story is written we can't expect Karan to look past the blatant evidence in front of him, thats why he repeatedly asks her for proof. I feel like if she has proof he will definitely believe her because he would not want anything to hurt is brother. He was ruder than usual though but not unjustified.

I don't think Karan was hurt at the prospect of Preeta-Rishabh affair personally. He loves his brother and will do anything for him. Hints at possible sacrifice track (before inevitably PreeRan marry).

I think today's episode hints at PreeRan being endgame too. Preeta questioning why everyone keeps thinking that she is behind Rishabh and Rishabh will be disgusted to at the accusation of them together. She doesn't see Rishabh that way at all. It hints at more conflict between Preeta and Karan, a norm for EK main lead couple. It hints at Karan doing anything so Rishabh doesn't get hurt. Either sacrifice track or hate marriage track where Karan thinks he's saving Rishabh from Preeta due to some misunderstanding.

I am 80% satisfied with today's episode. Karan's point was absolutely logical. First sherlin poisoned food to remove preeta from rishab's life and now she has an extra affair... This cannot normally be digested. On top of that karan saw rishab in tears because of preeta so he was mad at her... What made meupset today is that most of the mobiles these days have camera inbuilt. Couldn't she capture the scenario? Yeah, it was dark but she could have flash and ran away. Or else she could even have recorded their conversation. Okay, even if she had asked karan to talk with his mother about the food she had had and who had made her have them then most of the things would be clear to karan since she was affected the most...

karan... my god he was so angry today.. aisa kya hua...?
now i got why so many back to back beautiful preeran scenes last n these week.
