Kumkum is perofrming the surgery with two junior doctors.2 hours have passed.sumit and Riddhima wait for her outside the OT but soon, her own condition worsens.Her head aches badly and she sends a nurse to get a painkiller from Riddhima.Sumit is extremely worried for her.
3 and a half hours later, the junior doctors come out of OT.riddhima asks them about the operation and they inform that it was succcessful.Kumkum also comes, looking totally exhausted.Sumit goes to her.
Sumit-ho gayi surgery?..tabiyat kaisi hai?..tum chehra dekho apna..face se lag... 😕
her hands are pressing her head.. 😕
Sumit-kumkum?..kyaa sar mein dard..
Before he could complete his sentence,Kumkum gets a dizzy spell and faints.Sumit and Riddhima catch her and take her to Riddhima's cabin.Riddhima checks her temperature.Its 106.c.Sumit is panicked.Riddhima injects her...
Riddhima-sumit...temperature bahut high hai iss waqt....ise ghar lejaoge?...she needs rest..
Sumit-(worried)..haan main ghar le jaoonga..
Riddhima-main bhi aati hoon..aao...
sumit carries her in arms to the car and makes her lie down at the back seat with her head on Riddhima's lap.

After 4 hours:
Riddhima is sitting on the bed besides Kumkum, who is still unconscious, and keeping wet cloth on her head.She mumbles "su..sum...sum..sumit"... 😳
Riddhima-kumkum...aankhein khol...dekh...
She is uneasy in her sleep and wakes up in fright...she's sweating and panting badly...On seeing Riddhima, she hugs her tightly. 😕
Riddhima-kumkum....kumkum?..relax...relax...pareshan mat ho...sab theek hai..
She is crying pathetically...Riddhima tries to soothe her anxiety by caressing her back.
Kumkum-Riddhi...sumit?....
Riddhima calls sumit and he comes with ice and cold water, in a rush.He hugs Kumkum warmly. 😳
Kumkum-sumit?..
she cries bitterly...Sumit kisses her head. 😊
Sumit-kumkum?...kya ho gaya?..ro kyun rahi hai meri Kumkum?.. 😳
Kumkum-please...mujhe chodkar mat jao...Sumit...main ..sumit..main mar jaoongi..please.. 😭
Sumit-arre...kumkum...munna.?...bura sapna dekha?..baba..main toh apke paas hi hoon na?..main bas apke liye ice laane gaya tha baby...ro nahin... 😳
But she continues crying.Riddhima pours water in a glass..
Riddhima-kumkum..?..fever hai na..ro mat..le ....paani pi..
She makes her drink water....
Riddhima checks her temperature...
Sumit cajoles her in his arms like a baby.
Sumit-abhi bhi bukhar hai na?..
riddhima-haan sumit...abhi hai 100...ek minute...kumkum?..haath idhar de....
She injects her and sumit makes her lie down.She holds both, Riddhima and sumit's hands ,tightly and soon falls asleep. 😉 😳
sumit-Riddhi?..kya hua?..
Riddhima-sumit....abhi tranquillizer de diya hai...thodi der theek se so jayegi...better feel karegi...
Suddenly, riddhima's phone rings...Its Dr.Shashak...
DR. Shashank-riddhi?..beta kumkum ke reports kahaan rakhe hain?..
Riddhima-papa...wo..kumkum ke cabin mein honge...papa..saath mein iske liye 2-4 sedatives aur le aayiyega..
DR. shashank-Riddhi?..tune use sedatives diye hain?...
Riddhima-nahin papa....wo...pareshaan ho rahi thi...uneasiness bahut zyaada ho rahi thi...isiliye tranquillizer dekar sula diya hai...
DR.Shashank-beta....tum aur sumit khayal rakhna uska...main bas abhi aata hoon..
Riddhima-ok papa...bye..
she disconnects the call...
Sumit-Riddhi...papa ko kyun pareshan kar rahi hai?...wo abhi pune se aaye hain aur...
Riddhima-sumit...agar main mana kar doon na...phir bhi papa aayenge..apni doosri beti ko dekhne..
Sumit-par..Riddhi..
Riddhima-jitni fikr meri karte hain na papa...utni hi Kumkum ki bhi karte hain...aur isiliye....tum chup raho....kumkum so rahi hai....bolo mat.. 😆
Sumit smiles at her.... 😉

Kumkum is sitting on the bed with her head on Sumit's shoulders and hand clutching Riddhima's arm...
Sumit-hum log..itna darr gaye they ... 😳
Kumkum gives a weak smile... 😊
Riddhima-aur ye Sumit...jaan nikal gayi thi iski jab tujhe chakkar aaya... 😳 😆
Kumkum-pata nahin mujhe kya ho gaya tha...shaayad surgery ke baad bahut thak gayi thi...
Riddhima-kumkum..lekin ab kuch dinon tak bilkul bhag daud band...tu chutti lekar rest karegi....
Kumkum-baba i am...
They hear a voice-"bilkul...ab kumkum ki 15 days ki chutti hai...and that's decided".. 😕
Kumkum-Dr.Shashank..?..
He sits besides her..."nahin...aapke papa aaye hain"..
He hugs her affectionately..."ek hi din mein pale ho gayi tum toh...".. 😊
She gives a faint smile.."i am ok now.."
He is stern.."are you sure you are ok?.."
Kumkum-yaa...kyun uncle..?
Shashank-Sumit...ye reports padhkar sunao ise...
Sumit reads the report...."typhoid hai kumkum..." 😭
Shasank-so..ab aap 15 days ke liye chutti par ho..samjhe?...tumhaari medecines bhi laaya hooon aur kuch injections hain..time par le lena...sab likha hai prescriptions mein ...
sumit is upset to hear this... 😭
Shashank caresses her hair..."beta...meri bhi night shift hai aaj...chalta hoon..haan..tere liye teri favorite chocolates laaya tha...ye le.."
He hands over a box of chocolates...Kumkum thanks her... 😛
Kumkum-Riddhi...tu bhi jaa...subah se meri dekhbhaal kar rahi hai..thak gayi hogi.."
Riddhima-nahin meri bhi night shift hai..papa ke saath hi nikal jaati hoon..
They take leave and Sumit goes to see off ...
Shashank-sumit..zyaada pareshan mat hona...medicines time par lena hai bas...theek ho jayegii...bas 10-12 din ki baat hai...hmm?..hum to hain hi?..
Sumit-thankyou uncle...
Riddhima-teri patni ki itni seva ki hai maine...mujhe kal subah tak mera gift mil jaana chahiye..samjha na?.. 😆 😆
They laugh...After they go, Sumit returns to Kumkum's room..
She is trying to get up from the bed...sumit stops her..

Kumkum-paani pina hai..
Sumit-aawaz nahin de sakti thi?..chalo baitho..
He makes her sit and gives her water

Kumkum opens her eyes and gets astonished...The entire room is filled with red, heart-shaped balloons and candles.She gets up slowly, due to weakness and walks to the door.She moves towards the lobby and finds another pink decoration.... 😳
The entire house is decorated with pink flowers, balloons and frills..She walks a few steps but feels giddy ....She is on the verge of falling when she gets supported from back.. 😳
Its sumit...he holds her..."aaram se..weak ho na abhi..".. 😳 😳 😳
Kumkum's eyes are moist..."sumit...ye sab kya hai?.."
Sumit-mera pyaar...kaisa hai?.. 😳 😳
Kumkum-bahut sundar.. 😳 😳

He takes her to the living room, covered with similar, red, white and pink decorations..and a hugs banner saying
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY VALENTINE...MY LIFE...MY KUMKUM"....
Kumkum-main toh bhool gayi thi..
Sumit-apni kumkum ja birthday to main nahin bhool sakta na...Happy Birthday..
He hugs hers warmly..
sumit-pehle toh tumhe 12 baje hi wish karne wala tha..magar..tumhari tabiyat kharab thi...weakness zyaada thi..aur..waise hi tumhe injection ka asar tha...isiliye nahin uthaaya..
Kumkum-tumne ye sab kab kiya?...
Sumit-jab aap so rahi thin..ab batao kaisa laga?...
Kumkum-bahut accha...awesome..ekdum mere Sumit ki tarah...perfect...
Sumit-toh ab ek inaam milega?...yahaan?..(poointing to his cheek) 😳
Kumkum smiles and kisses his cheek... 😳 😳 😳
Sumit-main jaanta hoon ki ab aap kahaan jana chahengi...aayiye..
And he takes kumkum to a secluded room....
