The Anuj-Manish war goes public

The animosity between the two actors was obvious at a kids' show held recently.

At the 'Dances of the World' show, held by the Peek-a-Boo toddlers club, over the weekend, the invitees were baffled when television actors Manish Goyal and Anuj Saxena, refused to exchange pleasantries although they were seated in the same row. The actors were invited as guests of honour.

Later compere Tejashree invited them on the stage to mingle with the physically challenged group. The 'Nach Baliye' couple Manish and Poonam Narula along with their 18-month-old-son Aryaveer came up. But seeing Manish on stage, Saxena made a brief appearance and stood at a safe distance from him.

When quizzed about their cold vibes, Anuj said reticently, "Yes, there are some issues to be sorted out. Let's not get into controversies on such a cheerful occasion." Manish, on the other hand, seemed willing to call it a truce, "Honestly speaking, I have no hang-ups. I am willing to forget the past and renew our friendship. That's provided Anuj is willing."

But what really went wrong between them continues to be a mystery. A news story recently highlighted that Manish being replaced in 'Bhabhi' by Anuj created a rift between the duo.

But did they know that they were to attend the same event? Peek-A-Boo director Darshini Shah explained, "Yes they did. It was a coincidence that both Anuj and Manish attended the same occasion." The Anuj-Manish war goes public
