I wanted to become an actress. I came to Mumbai and started my
career as any other newcomer would. My first TV serial is 'Shaheen'
on Sony Entertainment Television.

How did you enter the television world?

career as any other newcomer would. My first TV serial is 'Shaheen'
on Sony Entertainment Television.

What are your current TV projects?
Presently I am engaged only with Kumkum on Star Plus.

Tell us something about your character in the serial Kumkum telecast
on Star Plus.
I play the role of a woman who has so many important roles in one
role of Kumkum.
I am the responsible daughter-in-law, sister-in-law and all other
roles that any woman goes throughout her life. I am very happy with
my role in the serial. It has been great working for it.

What do you do in your leisure time?
I am generally very busy. I hardly get any leisure time.

According to you, what has been your best performance till date?
It is over three and a half years that the serial is going on. It is
very difficult to tell which one is my best performance. But I would
like to mention that I enjoyed and performed my best while I was
playing a double role in the serial Kumkum.

What are your future plans?
I never plan for the future. I take each day as it come
