Rituals you follow: Reading namaaz at the mosque, followed by qurbani of the bakra are rituals I follow. But this year, I read namaaz in my vanity van, as I've been rehearsing for the awards ceremony.

What does Eid mean to you? Meeting family friends, being a bawarchi throughout the day (I'm an awesome cook) and of course, being a good host.
Rituals you follow: It's early morning namaaz. And before that, I have to finish making sheer korma.
Do you believe in sacrifice? I don't believe in sacrificing animals. All my family members are animal lovers, and we hate to slaughter goats.
Most memorable Eid? I cooked biryani for the first time when I was 16, and it was terrible!

What does Eid mean to you? For me, it's a happy festival; eating lots of mutton, receiving loads of gifts and spending quality time with family.
Rituals you follow: I don't practice any rituals, except for the sacrifice.
Do you believe in sacrifice? Yes, of course. It's a must to sacrifice today.
Most memorable Eid? This is going to be the most memorable Eid, as my aunts and cousins, who stay abroad, have come down this time to celebrate Eid with us.

What does Eid mean to you? During my growing years, it meant celebration, eating lots of sheer korma, wearing new clothes and getting your hands on eidee (money) from the elders. But since the time I've joined television, it's a working day for me.
Rituals you follow: It's reading namaaz early in the morning, sacrificing goats, eating lunch at my aunt's place and dinner at my granny's.
Do you believe in sacrifice? We have been doing it every year, ever since I can remember.
Most memorable Eid? It used to be more fun when I was a kid.

What does Eid mean to you? It's a very auspicious and happy event in our calendar.
Rituals you follow: In the morning, I go for namaaz, followed by the sacrificial ceremony.
Do you believe in sacrifice? I do believe in the rituals attached to sacrifice. I have been religiously doing it every year.

Do you believe in sacrifice? It's done in keeping with past history. But I can't bear the sight; I'll faint if I see it.

What does Eid mean to you? It calls for celebration, togetherness, sacrifice, meat and amazing biryani.
Rituals you follow: Not much. We simply wish each other in the family.
Do you believe in sacrifice? We do it in our native place, in Godhra. We send money to our family friends there, who sacrifice goats on our behalf and distribute the meat to poor people.
Most memorable Eid? There's no particular Eid I can think off.

What does Eid mean to you? It means lots of happiness, festivity and new clothes.
Rituals you follow: Getting up at 5 am and praying, followed by qurbani and then cooking yummy dishes.

Most memorable Eid? When I was a kid, it was very fascinating, as I would fill my pockets with eidee (money). But now we have grown up, and don't get it any longer.

What does Eid mean to you? It means closeness, happiness, celebration and a lot of good food.
Rituals you follow: I have to read namaaz at the mosque, early in the morning.
Do you believe in sacrifice? We haven't sacrificed a goat for a long time now, as my siblings are scattered across Saudi Arabia and Australia.
Most memorable Eid? When I was a small, I used to get eidee (money) from all the elders in the family, and then splurge on crackers and chocolates.

Rituals you follow: After praying, a goat has to be sacrificed, followed by the process of cleaning and distributing the meat.
Do you believe in sacrifice? Since I started earning, I've been following the ritual.
Most memorable Eid? Bakri Eid is a smaller affair compared to Ramzan Eid. I don't remember any special Eid.
