Ranbir is more human in show. Infact more human than Prachi. I can relate to him, the way he doesn't care about the promise if he thinks the promise was wrong, the way he voices his opinion. In most of the Balaji show there is always a misunderstanding between the leads because the female are shown too mahan and don't spill the truth properly. But, in the case of pranbir both Prachi and Ranbir tells everything before it can turn into misunderstanding. The only thing that I am annoyed is that Ranbir hasn't told Prachi about the bet. Either he is afraid Prachi will leave him knowing truth or he is very carefree.

I don't think partiality was so much when it was old Rhea. She used to get scolded whenever her crimes were exposed. Except Pragya no one used to run around giving justifications for her criminal acts. Prachi used to put her in place very nicely. Abhi also used to blast her when he got to know about her evil plans against Prachi. Heck, I remember that even Abhi's taiji once scolded Rhea for pushing Prachi towards suicide. But ever since this new Rhea came, everyone is busy trying to justify her actions. Don't know what changed after the lockdown, but it is really irritating.

I think its because she doesn't want to create rift between Ranbir and her mother which is justifiable given her character.

Yeah. But when everyone thought Prachi was coming between Ranbir and Rhea he should have told the truth to Prachi about him confessing to Rhea.

Yeah. The story has been a mess post lockdown. Also old rhea didn't used to get this much screenspace like the new one is getting.

Both the parents favor the other behen. Pragya more bothered about her, abhi can walk up and say Prachis father must be ashamed, after standing by this girl when he didn't even know her much and proudly said "Prachi can never be wrong, she's like my daughter" etc. Not having mom is a faltoo tv trope, it give male character free pass to be abusive and woman ones as bitch.

And of course this extra mahanata is because of the actress, I hope whatever they do don't touch pranbir relationship because that's the only thing holding the show.
