Yeah. Prachi didn't let him go at all. She literally took him and even then when he tried to go out she gave her promise and then Ranbir closed the door to listen to what she had to say. She also told how Maya attempted suicide. So everything is clear now.

The reaction of ranbir when she gave him her oath to stop and listen to her was just Like he knew there's nothing he couldn't do for her, so when the girl is making him swear by her, he cannot deny. ❤️
