-Abhi forbids ranbir from doing anything that can complicate his case more as he jsut got bail. Rhea thanks maya for hiding her then on the way out of her house she says she will wait for maya's call for her to agree to her plan.
-Ranbir, abhi and vikram reach home and pallavi and beeji are relieved to see ranbir out of jail. Ranbir says he's going to go office, but pallavi refuses, and ranbir says he can't stay locked up in the house to stay out of people's eyes else people will think he's guilty. Pallavi remains adamant as people will taunt him and tells him to not leave the house till he gets clean chit in the case. Ranbir says that people will talk even if he stays locked up, but at least he'll be able to respond and quieten people if he's there so he won't wait for clean chit to go out as people will still talk. Beeji agrees with him and convinces pallavi. Even abhi agrees with ranbir. Ranbir gets emotional and hugs abhi and says he thought even abhi would think he's guilty. Abhi says he was ranbir's age once, saw he sees through ranbir's flirty bad-boy image. Abhi comforts ranbir. Vikram tells ranbir to have bath before going office.
-Ranbir after getting ready meets aryan who is in ranbir's room waiting for him and they hug. Aryan asks if everything will be ok and ranbir reassures him. Aryan asks how ranbir whilst trying to make prachi jealous became intoxicated when he didn't even drink. Ranbir remembers being sober when speaking to maya then not recalling anything after that. Ranbir says anything maya will say people will believe as people don't believe boys in these cases, and on top of it he can't tell people he was with maya to make prachi jealous and even then people won't believe him. Ranbir tells prachi saw him kiss maya, even though it was fake and not a real kiss. He explains he was close to maya and saw prachi looking jealous, but he didn't actually touch maya but prachi would have thought it looked like he kissed her. He fears prachi may be thinking bad of him. Aryan says did he ask her. Ranbir says that's why he's going office to meet her and ask her if she thinks he is wrong. Aryan says she might be suspecting him as he himself made it look like that. Ranbir says prachi is at the moment the most important person in his life even more than himself. Ranbir says he will die if prachi considers himself wrong. Aryan hugs him and tells him not to talk rubbish an relax. Aryan says prachi is a smart girl, that if she does get a doubt then she won't go without trying to clear it. Aryan says prachi may doubt ranbir but not judge him. Aryan tells ranbir to talk to her.
-Aliya after getting to know from rhea that ranbir and abhi showed up at maya's house whilst rhea was there to inform maya of their new plan decides to never send rhea there again. Rhea tells maya denied the plan.
-Rhea comes downstairs and sees ranbir. Rhea shows "sympathy" for ranbir. Ranbir says it was bound to happen due to his behaviour, and never thought about how his flirting affected people, but ranbir says he learnt now that people can take flirting in a wrong way. Ranbir says he feels he has only ever done bad things, but never had the intention of hurting anyone. Ranbir cries. He says everything he has done was with a person's permission. Ranbir explains he was only talking to maya and now she's saying all this about him. Rhea says she trusts him and says no matter if anybody stands with him or not in life, she will always be there for him. Ranbir hugs and thanks rhea. Rhea says he means a lot to her. Rhea gets happy thinking he hugged her.
-Prachi is on phone with pallavi assuring pallavi that nobody will say anything to him. Ranbir arrives in office. Ranbir looks glum and prachi happily greets him to make him comfortable. He greets her glumly and prachi goes after him. Prachi says its good to see him in office. He asks whether she thought he would lock himself up at home after this. Ranbir susses out that his mother called her. Rnabir says prachi only says the truth and can easily catch her out if she lies hence why is she doing what she usually doesn't do. Ranbeer greets a female employee who avoids him and doesn't reply walking away. Ranbir walks away dejected and prachi feels bad for him.
-Prachi scolds the female employee. Employee says ranbir is flirtatious so of course he must have molested the girl. Prachi says he is a flirt but not a pervert. Prachi says she understands ranbir's thinking well. Prachi accuses all the female employees of enjoying attention from ranbir and flirting with him, including wearing short clothes to get noticed by him and sending him private messages. Prachi says she knows all this as she's ranbir's secretary and sees his phone bills and which female employees send ranbir personal messages late at night as well as which messages ranbir doesn't reply too so no need to call ranbir characterless. Prachi reminds the girl that at least she shouldn't judge ranbir as she wanted to have coffee with him but ranbir told her to bring her boyfriend too, and if he was characterless he would have took her on dinner date alone.
-Rhea gets happy and dances thinking ranbir was happy with her as she showed trust in him. She thinks ranbir is falling in love with her again and the sends money pictures to maya to convince her for the fake suicide plan. She hopes ranbir will start hating prachi soon.
-Prachi comes in ranbir's cabin and asks what are his plans for today in office. Ranbir smiles and says she's the secretary so she should tell him. prachi says she's checking if he's normal and he says he is. Prachi teases him that he purposely got himself arrested so he doesn't have to come to office. Ranbir says he wants to write a mail to her that says she is the best person he knows and keep it as proof that she's the world's nicest girl. Ranbir says he heard everything she said outside for him and thanks her. Prachi says it was necessary. Ranbir thanks her sincerely for supporting him and for being his friend and he puts his hand forward towards prachi. Prachi shakes his hand and teasingly says she had no choice as no matter what he's like he's her friend so she'll have to maintain it too. Ranbir asks prachi whether she trusts him. He says it will be fine even if she says no as he knows she saw him and maya very close so he will understand. She asks why he went close to her. He thinks how to tell that he did it so prachi comes close to him. Ranbir says it was his biggest mistake and he says she still didn't answer if she trusts him. She asks him what he thinks. He says he thinks she's upset with him. She says she is but not because of the case but only because he was behaving weirdly on lohri and asks why. She says she knows he's innocent because he's good as well as a baklu. Ranbir smiles. Ranbir asks she thinks he's nice. She says he's mental too.
-Two female employees enter in ranbir's cabin and apologise to him for their behaviour. One of the employees who prachi previously scolded says at least she should not have behaved with him that way and reacted from what they saw on news. Ranbir says its ok and its enough that they apologised. Ranbir says they are all like a family rather than employees. The employees leave.
-Ranbir says to prachi if it wasn't for her he doesn't know what he would do and he was scared about coming to the office and now he feels better as if nothing happened all thanks to her. She asks him where he learned all these serious talks from. She wonders if it is from abhi as abhi talks like that with the employees too as like family, or maybe like vikram sir who also says that if it wasn't for her he doesn't know what he would do. He says impressing her is impossible and she agrees. He asks if he can try one more time to impress her. She says no need as she won't get impressed and because he's her friend she will have to maintain this friendship and friends don't impress each other and will maintain it anyhow. They both cutely tease each other and prachi leaves cabin with ranbir smiling.
