Thanks, Praveen. 3.25 and #2 position in overall and #4 in rural. Not bad, but not great either. There was a lot of drama and major twists. Why are the impression #s decreasing? Only 7000's in urban and 5000's in rural. Those numbers used to be much higher. Is overall viewership going down?

No barc has adopted a new system hence the skewed values.

They have made few changes. There was an article about the same in their page on twitter

No Prani..!! This week ratings are pretty good... I think we got 7000+ ratings in urban after 4 to 5 months... If we compare this to last week ratings,

Overall = 11149 => 12209 (Increased 1060)

Urban = 6402 => 7151 (Increased 749)

Rural = 4747 => 5057 (Increased 310)

Last week we have 3 Maha episodes... So when they calculate impressions, they need to find average in 1 hour instead of 30 Mins... It is very tough sustain ratings in this conditions... But KKB gets good rise in the ratings... If we don't have 1 hr episodes last week, the impressions might get increased further...

Pb!!! Thanks for the well constructed update! I know you have been doing these posts for awhile but I havent opened one befote. Well done 🤗

Trp 3.25? If said it was 2.9 last week so that is a big jump! And on BARC the impressions difference btwn KKB and the next daily soap is also significant.

CONGRATS to KKB team on continuing success, hope the fruits of their hard work and magic talent will continue for many months to come! As a fan I am always worried about becoming too smug; we have dominated ratings for a long time but that is always subject to change. So each weeks success deserves respect as well as celebration, but we should never take doing well for granted ❤️

Yes, impression #s have increased. I saw another post on BARC's change in it's method of calculation.

But on the whole, 3.2 out 5 is not a very high score for me. That's a pretty mediocre score. This show used to score much higher in 4.5 before. The fact that other shows are not very good is helping KKB. And for that, KKB should feel proud!!

You are right 1 hr maha episodes never helped KKB all these years in increasing TRPs, due to 1 hr average time instead of 30mins they mostly brought them down.., Also most maha episodes telecast earlier were hurriedly shot mostly for the sake of just filling up 2 slots without a purpose or showing any major development in story or plots. 🥱

Last week wed-fri have shown some high tension as well as emotional moments which caused changes to story along with some brilliant performances. (not sure of this week's mon-tue episodes though)

Ok so they have stopped monitoring households using analogue i.e. older version of cable connections, its going to be only digital connections going forward coming under BARC impressions..😳 but many households in India haven't yet moved towards buying set boxes and installing them despite several notices from Govt and broadcasters..😕
