So I'm watching like justtt the tiniest slivers of epis and segments these days. I saw a bit with AbhiGya in the car. Pragya explains why she's unhappy with having a decision made for her, without her consultation. I was really, really happy to see these dialogues included in the show! Other aspects of the scene disappointed me, but I was surprised and gratified that Pragya got to actually clearly and simply say this. It was missing in MMS track in a similar situation. And in general, she doesn't get to say sensible stuff like this. So, hurrah for that much.

The lines I liked:

This isn't care, this is unfair. You haven't thought that you should at least ask me before taking a decision, whether I'm ready or not. Won't you ASK ME before making a decision about MY LIFE?

Also, something in the shopping segment reminded me...I actually do like how Pragz is just "whatever, I'll at least enjoy the little moments" these days. I am simultaneously frustrated that she's not actively working to reclaim her life and subdue her enemies, but - gosh, it's a distinct change from the early days, when almost all her moments were miserable. It's a weird sort of balance they are showing and it's not what I would want to see but since we are seeing it I'll find things to appreciate about it 😆

And, I remembered a reason why I so loved and seriously miss Mogambo track. It flipped the power dynamic we're seeing now, about who was taking a decision for whose life. It's still wrong to take a decision without consulting the other party, but thank you, my life and media are full enough of narratives of men taking unwanted decisions, I'd much preferred when I got to see Pragya in that problematic role instead. More interesting to see her making poor choices but wielding power than making poor choices and being subject to poor choices while not wielding power.

YES. She told him NO!! He didn't listen is a different story. But she voiced out her disapproval, which I feel is being highly undermined!

What's that saying, justice delayed is justice denied? Still I think we might get some justice if we get an apology in the near future. There have been several sequences in this track where what Pragya says or wants is completely disregarded or undermined...but then things turn around and she gets AT LEAST an apology. Which, listen. She didn't used to. You know?!
