What is Purab's motive?

Purab too initially tried to call the PuP (Purab-Pragya) affair blame wrong, but later even made up a story to describe how he and Pragya met, fell in love etc.

What made him do this?

Is it to make Abhi feel he is doing something wrong when Pragya will admit love or marry (fake) Purab?

Abhi wasn't upset about the affair itself. He even said he would not have tried to stop them. His issue was they hid it despite him asking several times. He will soon get over it I guess.

But then what is Purab's motive? Is he trying to get back at Taaliyah? But, how?

His motive is just to win the challenge he made to Alia & make Abhi jealous.

But he is forgetting that Abhi is a person who will not get jealous.

Abhi will either get mad or ship them, there is no middle way for him.

Purab did a grave mistake by accepting the affair, he will pay the price for this n even Pragya too.

I don't think this is about making Abhi jealous. He may try to show Tanu is wrong for him. Don't know how.

I guess so too..it's not about Abhi. And Abhi may give them problems with his input to the affair.

Looks like he just reacted. Like how Pragya reacted to Champak blame.

I didn't like him speaking for Pragya. He could have said he loves Pragya. He has no right to speak for her. In a way, Pragya should be more mad at Purab for putting her in a terrible place. He took a huge risk.

Can you see any motive in what he did?

What will be the motive behind disrespecting the bond you share with a girl who is like your sister?

Abhi 100% believed them, It wasn't 99.5% also.

Was he being blackmailed? Or something else it would definitely not b to make abhi jealous or they will b going by ishq movie only like now pu would do same with tanu & present pictures & all unnecessary drama. He didn't said coz he lacked proofs I know sounds stupid but it's kkb. Other than these two I don't see any reason by accepting it
