This is true but this is lie.

I felt it was like the pics are true (I did hug him and I like him) but this is lie and is shown in wrong way to put me down. (I just like him, I don't cross limits and get intimate with him)

I feel Abhi took it in this sense.

Also Prani when Purab was accepting, Prags asked him not to lie.

So Abhi may be thinking Purab is telling the truth and Pragya is lying. But actually it's opposite.

I don't think anything good can come out of this even if he had a plan or if Aliya blackmailed him to say this as worst case.

I don't think Abhi will compete with Purab for Pragya.

There is no Abhigya in the show since Aug 2016 it is just Abhi & Nikitha and as per CVs in this track they are not even for 'namesake' be termed as lovers, engaged or married couple.

I don't think a lot will change between Abhi-Purab and Pragya. Abhi will soon feel he doesn't have to feel bad about them hiding and will make peace with them. But romantic love if it was to develop from Abhi's side may take backseat.
