I think they intentionally include different religions/Gods to suit local versions. I remember reading that serials are written and directed to suit diverse viewers! I like it because it's inclusive!!

Initially when they started to dub in Tamil, there is already one show in that channel whose title refers to Kumkum/Mangalsutra... So they promoted this show as bonding between two sisters, So they titled as Iru Malargal (2 Flowers) refers to Pragya and Bulbul... And after Bulbul died, they changed the montage of 2 flowers as Abhi and Pragya...😆

Actually mangalsutra and sindhoor are not a part of Sikh weddings. They are indeed banned because they label a woman. Hope the Sikh religious committees never catch this soap and protest given they show like characters are into Granth Sahib/Waheguru etc.
