CV's never showed PuLiya relationship being so good to explain why became like this. That's a weakness in the story! Purab is an obsession with her, not that she's missing a great relationship with him.

I haven't seen the early epis so I thought that was some suspence set up by the CVS, hmmm so they did drop some hints! but I used to catch glimpse while browsing and purab always looked gloomy when my alu was around.

maybe that is why alu is so obsessive, purab was never really interested in her even when we're engaged ...she must have read all these signs, in her subconscious mind she knows he isn't hers really but her brain still can't seem to understand that, some obsessions aren't easy to get rid of
she just wants him .. somebody just take her to a psychiatrist 🥱

Purab had no reason to say No to Aalu or Abhi when Abhi proposed they shall marry (Abhi sees PuLiyah having a fun chat and wonders about hooking them up). Purab didn't love her or was into her but said Yes to the proposal.
When he met BB he fell for her but did not gather courage to tell Aalu or Abhi about it despite Abhi indirectly asking a couple of times. Again he didn't know how to say No to Aalu and Abhi.

May be if Aalu had heard it from Purab than seeing him wirh that girl (Pragya lol), she might have taken it better.
