They never fleshed out her story with Purab, then maybe I would have felt bad for her.
Like they should have shown scenes with Purab early on so that the audience can understand or at least get where her anger is coming from

Purab once mentioned about Tannu that she is a friend from a long time. That must be writers forgetting stuff.

But then Abhi has said initially that he is dating Tannu for 8 months after ditching his old GF. and Tannu said similar stuff at some point. And it is mentioned Taaliyah were college friends and that's how TaBhi met.

And Tannu's parents do not know Abhi at all until they meet him. So I wouldn't thkn TaBhi knew each other in childhood. Moreover, Abhi was poor and Tannu seems to be from a relatively richer family. So no way they were friends and knew each other before. How will Tannu find a poor boy/poor girl as a friend anyway?

And in all childhood memories Abhi has Purab and Aalu, not Tannu!

just to create suspense in mind of the audiences, purab was shown a very lousy fiance! he didn't even look interested in marriage to alu.

They did clearly show that stuff na, even before Aalu entered... Purab's dilemma.. Abhi asks him a couple of times about Aalu and him... and even teases he shouldn't fall for his pretty office girl.. Purab doesn't say anything..

And when Aalu arrives from Aus, he doesn't go to pick her up etc.. Aalu is mad at him.. Lol. Wonder if they communicated by email/phone etc..😆😆

However long they knew each other, 4 of them seemed to have gotten along well as friends, from Aliya's perspective. Definitely Purab, Aliya, and Abhi knew each other from childhood, Tanu joined after Abhi became famous. For Aliya four of them together was a perfect deal!!

Yep, she losing all the attention and the "middle class" sisters getting al the attention from her brother and fiance was too much for her. I kind of wonder if hating "poorer and middle class" people like the Aroras is because she hates her past poor life. She is good case study in family dynamics in psychiatric disorders.

When she got back from Aus she apparently had tried to call him but if you recall he probably lost the number lol 🥱 because he was like oh that was you calling?
