We are talking about intentions again. And whatever his MU, it was his MU, so cannot blame anyone else for his actions but him, he did not research, did not attempt to find out the truth but embarked on the mammoth step of ruining a girl's life, marrying her with no intention of living up to the wedding vows, spent the wedding night with Tanu, ridiculed and belittled Pragya at every turn (even yelling I hate you to her face), nothing in my mind excuses such bad and selfish behavior. Just because I believe someone killed my dog, doesn't give me the right to poison that person's dog and claim I was under a MU.
I don't think Pragya's motives need be questioned or even debated upon, they are Ganga ki tarah pavitra :). She is doing it 'cos Daadi is after her to save her grandson and to bring him in line. Pragya is not spending his money on frivolous things, she is teaching his family members financial responsibility and that too 'cos the grandma wants her to, she balked at hurting Abhi, she has felt awful for acting like the mean one (how many times did we see Abhi feeling bad for his behavior?? In fact, he rightfully expected Pragya's love and even slapped her when she didn't comply) Not once did he feel bad for his MU unlike Pragya here who feels miserable at every step for behaving out of character.
Getting Tannu into his bed is nothing compared to the hanky panky carried on by Abhi and Tannu even with a houseful of guests (the incident with Pragya's cousin), it is nothing new to the two of them, remember he even keeps a change of clothes at Tannu's? His robe! Only supposed wrong doing here is that Pragya allowed Tannu into her bed. Why should we blame Pragya for that? She is responsible now for everyone's actions? Not fair. All she did was tell Tannu about what transpired. Abhi himself has never had the gumption or the mind to kick his ex-girlfriend out of the house, he doubts his own behavior/charithra and is unsure or rather sure he is the father of Tannu's child, so to me it is a non-event that Pragya let Tannu into Abhi's room.
And to play devil's advocate, who is to say Tannu didn't jump into bed of her own accord. Pragya told Tannu to keep an eye on Abhi and expected Tannu to perhaps give Abhi a earful. If Tannu decided to lay down beside Abhi and Abhi did not realize (poor baby, always under an MU) it was Tannu and hugged her, what fault is it of Pragya's? He should have his senses and wits about him and should have pulled the pillow off her face (better yet, he needed to have instinctively known, his wife, the one he professes to love, does not sleep with the pillow suffocating her chand ka chehra) before attempting to hug the person next to him. Just saying.
And who knows how long Tannu has been there, Pragya looks changed and dressed for the morning, her clothes are in that room so maybe silly Tannu snuck in when Pragya was showering? Possible.
Edited to add: As for Pragya willingly staying in the marriage, I personally think Abhi too is relieved Pragya is there protecting him from going through a marriage with Tannu. And honestly wonder why he has never sought legal counsel to see if he could be rid of Pragya. She owns him lock, stock and barrel, yes, but he could refuse to produce more music, say his creative well has dried up, she cannot order his creative juices to produce music at her behest and no court of law would uphold that. The guy is happy to share a room with Pragya and will live like this to eternity - baby in the house, Tannu in the house, he with Pragya and she safeguarding him from all evil :)
