I do not like them showing Abhi raising his hand to hit her.

There are other ways to take out anger, slapping someone is not the answer. This seems to be a recurring theme.

I'm curious if this is shown on other soaps too or do we have the exclusive privilege of being shown possible violence?

@deefan other shows do use slaps for high drama.
But only in kkb the heroine get slapped by hero. Our pragya gets extra privileges.
