Kumkum Bhagya: Pragya's perpetrator's character based on Riteish Deshmukh's role from The Villain'!
Television actor Mohit Daga who was last seen in Ek Mutthi Aasmaan as Shilpa Shirodkar's endearing husband Vittal a year ago will be seen as a psycho killer Vijay in Kumkum Bhagya. A reliable source reveals that the role is loosely inspired from Ritiesh Deshmukh's character in the film From The Villain.
Divulging more facts about his role, Mohit says, "I have played positive and negative roles in different shows. My last role was positive but this one is negative and challenging. It's a long cameo which will create hell in the life of protagonist Pragya (Sriti Jha) of the show. The very idea to play psycho killer is exciting as on TV you don't get to do such roles. The look has me sporting jacket, t-shirt and jeans."
Often, the male actors have to bear a long wait for TV role and Mohit couldn't agree more. Talking about his own experience, he says, "The hunt is for the actors who can look the particular characters. TV industry is crowded and for the same role so many actors are considered even of different age groups and character brief also changes from the time one audition to finalizing. Luck plays an important role in getting the right opportunities."
