Pragya had a sleepless night that day. She was still wondering about Abhi and Abhilasha's next step. She loved them both, but didn't want them to destroy her kumkum and suhaag. No doubt that she hated Karan, but her mother had always taught her to protect their relationship, no matter what happens.

Also, the places where Karan had hurt her pained very much, that she wasn't able to drop off even for a single second.

4 days later, in the morning,

"Pragya bahu!" Dadi called out.

"Ji dadi.." Pragya replied, as she hurried down the stairs. Abhi was also coming down at that moment.

Suddenly, Pragya's foot slipped, and as she was about to fell down, Abhi held her, preventing her from the fall..They stared in each other's eyes, until Karan came there.

"Dekh lo dadi." he said, as he pulled Pragya behind him.

"Don't ya dare come near him." he whispered in Abhi's ears before leaving.

"Ha, ha. Achcha, Pragya and me are going to the temple. You take care of the house Abhi. Aaliyah has also gone out with Tanu, and Karan too seems to be going somewhere." said Dadi.

"Oh no Dadi..I'm going to the studio for preparing the Scratch music for my next song. I won't be able to do it." said Abhi.

"Oh no worries Abhi. Dadi, I'm at home only, I'll take care." Karan said.

Sup guys?" said Abhilasha, as she entered the house.

"We are going to the temple. You will come with us?" asked Dadi.

"Oh sure. Why not!" she replied.

Abhilasha, Pragya and Dadi went to the temple while Abhi went to the studio. Karan was alone at home.

At Abhi's studio,

"Yaar Purab! Koi achcha sa idea bata na, jisse hum us Karan ka kuch kar sake. " said Abhi.

"Let me think na." Purab replied.

"IDEA!" he cried.

"Tell then."

Purab told Abhi a plan, which made a grin to form on his face.

"Let me tell it to Abhilasha. She'll certainly love this idea." said Abhi.

But...

He phoned Abhilasha, as he narrated the whole plan to her.

"Have you gone bloody insane? Pragya will kick your butts off if she gets to know it was your plan that we executed. We are NOT doing anything like this." screamed Abhilasha.

Before Abhi could reply, she hung the phone up.

Abhi nodded, and Purab understood that she didn't agree.

"Listen Abhi..I think she's right. She's got enough brains to figure out what is right to do and what is not." said Purab.

"Yeah, I guess so too." he said, as the slight grin on his face also vanished.

At the temple,

"Uff, I'm so tired now." said Dadi.

"Let's go home then, and I'll cook khichdi for you." said Pragya.

"Okay!"

As they were going, Dadi's phone rang.

"Hello?" she asked.

"Hello. I'm Commissioner Kukreja speaking."

"Yes Commissioner. Has something wrong happened?" asked Dadi in a worried tone.

"Well, yes. A fire had broken into your house. We let it down before it could cause too much damage, and your grandson Mr. Karan was also in it, but he wasn't burned. But unfortunately, he was already murdered inside. I have informed Mr. Abhi too. Come here as soon as possible."

He hung the phone up.

The phone slipped from Dadi's hands, as she held her face, with tears rolling out of her eyes.

"What has happened Dadi?" asked Pragya and Abhilasha in chorus.

She told everything to them. The trio quickly got up, and reached the home fast, which had almost turned to ashes then.

At MM,

Abhi was already there, with Aaliyah weeping, resting on his shoulders. She couldn't bear the thought of his lovable bhai leaving them forever.

Dadi had cast a big pool of tears, and Pragya was also in depression, and uncontrollable tears.

Pragya was miserable, but 0.001 % of her heart was smiling somewhere below, happy to get rid of that beast.

She held onto Dadi, and said," Wa..was my suhaag...was my kumkum so, soo weak, that our marriage didn't even work for one week?"

They all cried their hearts out, with Abhi and Abhilasha trying to control them.

The police began investigating. He started with Pragya, Abhi and Dadi, who all replied in a No idea' when he asked them if they knew about any of Karan's enemies.

Then they interrogated Tanu, who had just arrived there.

"Miss Tanu. Did you know of any possible enemies of Mr. Karan?" the officer asked.

"Yes sir." she replied.

"Who?"

Tanu pointed at Abhi and Abhilasha.

"Sir, Abhi hated his own brother because he married his love Pragya, and Abhilasha because she was Karan's ex-fiancee, before he got married to Pragya." said Tanu.

The officer went and said,"Mr. Abhi and Miss Abhilasha. You will have to come to the police station for further interrogation, as you two have allegations against you made by Miss Tanu."

They both protested for a moment, but then went to the police station with them.

The other house members also went behind them.

While they were being interrogated there, an officer came and whispered something in the interrogator's ear.

"So Mr. Abhi and Miss Abhilasha. You have been freed from all the allegations made against you." he said.

They both were shocked and asked," Why??"

"It has come to our knowledge that Mr. Karan was involved in drug trafficking. He has been killed by his own gang mates for not being able to deliver the drug packets to some receiver on time. We will investigate and will let you know of any further information we get. You can leave now." he said.

When everyone went out of the police station, Dadi hugged Abhi, so did Aaliyah. Tanu had already left because of the embarrassment.

Abhi went and hugged Pragya when the others went in the other car to stay at Abhi's other farmhouse, until the Mehra Mansion gets renovated again.

"Pragya, will you marry me now?" he asked.

"You've gone insane." she replied, and went away from there, weeping to her mother's house.

So how was it?? Hope ya liked the end of Karan. Was it better than cooking his pakodas while boiling him in hot oil?? 😆😆

Wait for the last part to know if AbhiGya were reunited again or not!
