Ann, I'm trying to think of why they're doing this. They don't usually repeat scenes again and again. There has to be a scene coming where he is drunk and something good or bad happens.

That's the only justification for the same scenes playing out. It's unlike them to repeat it day after day unless it's leading up to something bigger..
