Not to me.

I guess you could say I don't judge all crimes the same way. The gendered, sexually violent tone of Nikhil's interactions with Tanu bother me a lot more than Tanu's crimes against Abhi and Pragya. I don't take those very realistically - they are the actions of a soap villain, not a real woman - but Nikhil's attitude is too common among real men not to bother me deeply.

It seems like this may be the CV's attempt to show that Tanu has bitten off more than she could chew - no pun intended and sorry about the unintentional visual! I could have gotten behind so many "take that Tanu baby" scenarios but this one is beyond creepy!

Even if they were desperate to introduce a new character/ plot line for Tanu, there were SO many other options! Even if it is to segue into another plot (losing wealth, Pragya etc), there were SO many other options! Did I mention, there were SO many other options! As I keep reminding myself I'm just a viewer...not the storyteller(s)!😉

Agreed. I just do not understand. What's the value of showing Tanu as overwhelmed by her mistake? To have her clinging to Abhi longer and to have Pragya helping her more? Just, what.

There were indeed many other options. Do CVs keep picking this one because it's gotten them this far and they're scared to try something new? Uff.

We all have different standards. I find a lot to empathize with Tanu. But even that isn't what makes me upset with CVs introducing Nikhil. CVs take the whole idea of obsessive love and sexual intimidation too lightly for my taste...Nikhil is just the latest and most blatant example of an unnecessary use of this kind of dynamic.

It's too early for us know the nature of the Nikhil-Tanu relationship but maybe CVs want to show that desperation made her do it all (become 'tangled' with a creep, get pregnant by said creep, lie about her pregnancy, 'abuse' Pragya) - all for the want of the RS lifestyle ...and of course, to get back at Pragya for getting in the way of her goal. Unless there's an added agenda of contrasting Tanu-Pragya from the beginning to now and how each one has changed ?! It's anybody's guess as to the CVs motivations...to use one of the RS quotes "wait and watch!!"

It's too early it's too early it's too early, I need to repeat that as a mantra! Wait and watch is a good one too 😆

From what they showed in the June 22 ep, desperation to be safe from Nikhil almost seems like a valid reason to destroy Pragya's life and lie to Abhi. Survival instinct, basically. We may not like it but it's understandable. Hoping the CVs add more complexity to the situation soon.
